Some incredible experiences can't be described in words and that's the experience i had staying at this place. As this was my first experience in Zostel kareri and I am glad that i choose to stay here. Zostel kareri has such an unbeatable Vibe and all wanted to say this place feels like a home in the nature. The rooms and bathroom were very neat and clean. They have a beautiful common room with a view overlooking the beautiful valley and the snow-clad mountains and along with a pool, tree house, outside venue to dine. So many facilities under one roof at zostel give such an unimaginable feel. The meals here feel like they are prepared with love and served with all the more of it. You can end up finding nice people to go for short treks around and they have a similar vibe which make it more great and comfortable. Zostel Kareri specially kudos to your team ( Nitesh, Mukesh & Sunil). Thank you for making this short stay such a memorable and definitely i would love to visit again and recommend it to all.

The Roads approaching the Hotel is worst - need to look at it. Nobody will stay at this Hotel if Road is not good.

The property is located at a really beautiful isolated location that was really peaceful and had a load of activities for everyone. The property is clean and well maintained with a good staff and facilities.

The only thing I didn’t like was the ambience which was focussed on party people with loud music. But this is a personal choice of being at a place as uniquely isolated as this and engaging in good music there.

Gorgeous property, pool and facilities. Particularly for meetings and work, or hanging with friends and family. Very quiet, but possible to meet other travelers. The LOCATION is INSANE. Small villages and outstanding landscapes, directly outside your door for a quick walk. I would come back any time. Very chill vibe

The internet speed could have been better for taking calls for work. It’s not easy to reach, so when you’re here, you’re here. That actually feels great, but requires some planning. My taxi the first night wouldn’t drive me the whole way, as the road ain’t good, but the manager was kind enough to drive out to get me. It was nighttime, I don’t know what I would have done otherwise, and no one warned me about this possibility!

I booked a capsule and it's great for someone who is not tall otherwise you'll not fit the bed and keep hitting the wall when you stand. I personally liked it because it gives you privacy and PEACE compared to dorms. The bathrooms and showers were clean all the time except once (which was due to some idiot guest who drank so much and puked in the basin without the decency of going to the toilet) I felt bad for the cleaning staff. Their food is good but too much for someone who is solo travelling. Otherwise it VFM. They have 2 pools which we used for Holi party too. The property is secluded but it felt more of a family hotel as there were more families and kids vs solo travellers. The music will keep reminding you of city or Punjab or Delhi. The stream flows right next to the hostel which is great if you want some quite. I think the property is great, not much to do there though. Just some peace and quite and beauty to soak in. Oh they have nice workstation too.

The MUSIC. Too loud. Too remote so one way taxi is 1500 and if you are solo, then it's way more expensive back and forth especially if you'd like to go out of the zostel somewhere. Better you take a bike from Dharamshala.

From the comfort of the rooms to the friendly staff, this hostel provided a wonderful experience. The staff especially was very humble and friendly, it made our stay much more comfortable.

Some of the services were not functional, for example there, there were many power cuts, the lift wasn’t working for 3 days during our stay.

The property was beautiful , The staff was very hospitable and friendly , They served delicious food , If you want peace in your life then this property is a must visit. The Swimming pool was the Icing in the cake as it had a beautiful background view. Special mention to Amit who served food in a professional manner without any tantrums .

The food in the property is bit expensive and there isnt much around the property to roam as it is faraway from the city life .

Property is located at remote village in kereri, I would recommend to put a sign board on the main road, its a bit offroad of about 1.5 km to reach zostel might be very difficult if your on scooty, bike will be fine as I was on bike but no doubt the property has all the amenities really nice pool, big common area, separate workstation good wifi connection, music and disc area, playing area etc. Cafe/Restaurant area was good. When I went very few guest was there so not much socializing happened.

Not much happy with the food.

I had a lovely time here, the location is really superb if you wish to stay in and have time away. The view from my room was exceptional. There's plenty of activities that you can indulge in at the property. The staff was really sweet and helpful. Mr Nitish had helped us with smooth check in and also during the stay. Staff at the restaurant is also very nice.

There was sometimes an issue with power outage here but that could've been because of the rain during my stay. The property is far from the city, so people who wish to go into the city should keep that in mind. One suggestion would be, please try to keep heaters available and include it with the rent of the room as it is a necessary facility in such low temperature places.

I was in awe of the location, surrounded by hills and snowy mountains. The whole place was immaculate at all times and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfort and welcome and answer all our questions. They had a solution for everything. It was a very peaceful and relaxing escape just what we needed. Don’t go there if you want access to shops and activities other than trekking and resting. Would definitely recommend if you like something off the beaten track. Thank you

Not sure if the pool tiles were green with moss or it was the colour of them but was a bit wary to get in although everything else was super clean. It was resolved in the end but be aware they don’t accept international bank cards and I didn’t have enough cash so had to drive in taxi to another hotel to pay. Also the drive is windy and bumpy so take travel sickness tablet if you’re that was inclined. The taxis to and from dharamshala cost more than the stay in the hostel.
