Idyllic setting with breathtaking views of the bay - water was still like glass in the morning. Perfect sunset view. Set away from the bustle of downtown, it was quiet. There is a pool for a dip in the heat and a pier (~400 m) that makes swimming in the bay accessible. Hands down, best shower I've had in Peru! Staff were very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was ok, just a little early for me. Food was adequate. Menu available all day.

Food was mediocre. It was noisy in the morning on the side of the hotel attached to the kitchen/dining area. If you're a light sleeper or a late sleeper, request a room on the other side.

Everyone that worked there was very eager to help especially speaking little Spanish myself which made me feel very comfortable. The hotel was immaculately clean and they were very organised

The quantity and quality of food at the restaurant isnt great which made it not worth eating there.

Our Stay at Atoq was just amazing! We had the really perfect time there. Room was nice, breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly and nice and we absolutely enjoyed the outsdide area. It has an amazing vibe to sit on the terrace with the pool, garden, and the lovely seaview. Because you also look to the national parc on the other sid of the sea and this is just unique. We even saw dophins swimming in the sea while we had breakfast - it was just amazing. Thank you for everything (also the most comfy bed!).

No fridge, which would have been great to have cold water bottles.

This was hands-down the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Peru. It exceeded all of our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a great selection. The pool and common areas were extremely clean and well cared for. The views of the sunset from the property are incredible. And it's great value for the price when traveling alone or with 1-2 other people, considering the alternatives (hostels, resorts that cost 2x as much, and Airbnbs / entire house rentals that are at least 5x the price).

Sometimes it can get loud at night in the plaza that's right next to the hotel (i.e., it's a common hangout spot for underage drinkers). The couple nights we had issues with noise, we wrote the hotel staff, who were on top of things. They had already called police / town security, who took care of it within 5 minutes of us complaining.

Location is about 12 mins walk from town or 5 mins drive. With that, you are truly unplugged from the hustle and bustle of city center Paracas. We really enjoyed the tranquility and amenities of the property. It had a pool that overlooks the water and was exactly what we needed after a long day of traveling and excursions. Being able to check out at 12 pm was nice as well. The rooms were nice, staff were friendly, dinner was great and breakfast better than what we had in Lima, and again, the hotel offerings were spectacular

Apparently there's a city electricity outage at 7 am and water outage at 730 am, with the generators not coming on until 8 am. But that's not really within their control, we just didn't know about it if it's listed somewhere

Small and lovely family-run hotel with an amazing view of Paracas Bag and glorious sunsets. All the rooms are less than 30 metres from the water and you really feel like you're in full nature - we were lucky enough to see dolphins, sea lions, crabs and fish just from the main dining area. Our room was well-furnished and spacious, and the included daily breakfast, while slightly basic, was still tasty. As was the food overall from the hotel restaurant. Special shout-out to José at the front desk.

The internet was a bit patchy for me.

The staff were great, breakfast was nice (not a big spread, but what they had was adequate and of good quality - had quinoa burgers for the first time in my life and I loved them!), rooms were clean, beds comfortable. They provide free kayak and paddle boards. The pool area with the view of the sea is really nice. It’s small, but most people are staying there for only a night and out on tours all day I guess. Wi-Fi was good. If you have time, I would suggest to stay two nights - one night is enough for the main tours around Paracas, but another night will be more relaxing to try out the kayak and paddle boards, relax by the pool and eat more awesome food in Paracas’ restaurants.

For the price, a kettle in the room would be nice. It was a 10-15 min walk from the Paracas center with the restaurants and bus drop off. Can make things tight if you are on a packed tour schedule and want to go to the hotel in between. You can always get a taxi though. It’s easy to miss on your way there the first time as all they have is a small signage of the name of the hotel on the outer wall. (Look for the park next to it. ) You have to use an intercom for someone to let you in. They always had someone at the desk when we were there, but there is always the risk of getting locked out! Giving guests an access card for the outer door might be a good idea.

The beach is not for swimming. The breakfast is very basic. There is no window in the room! I asked several times and was specifically told that there was a window. In reality there is no window. Open a side window for us in the roof. Almost no air came in from it. It really bothered me. There are lots of ants. It didn't help that they cleaned it.

Our stay was fantastic! Calm, cozy accommodation next to the ocean. A perfect spot to come to peace and enjoy beautiful sunset. We are very glad that we have received a free upgrade to superior room. Smart TV with Netflix is available. The shower is superb and the breakfast very tasty with a lot of variety. We can definitely recommend Atoq hotel. The crew receives many compliments from us, lovely people and professionals on the job!

Nothing, all was on top level!!

The location of the property is fantastic. Every morning we ate breakfast entertained by cavorting sea lions, Peruvian pelicans diving for fish and more sea birds than you can possibly imagine. On our last day we even saw lots of dolphins. There are paddle boards and kayaks you can use to get even closer to nature. It is a 20 minute walk into town or to the harbour with an assortment of restaurants and bars and Has easy access to the Nature reserve .
