This property is overall excellent and a wonderful retreat. The rooms were very comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. Caught a great sunset, ate great food, and they brought in a local dancer who made for a memorable evening. I'd stay there again if I was passing through the area.

My complaint is that the property listing claimed it was a 13 minute walk from the Kumbalgargh fort. It's a 30 minute DRIVE. I am not sure whether this error was intentional, but it matters a lot. We had a driver, so it wasn't a problem when we discovered this day of, but if we had come via bus, it would have been a much bigger problem. It also means you are less likely to see evening events at the fort like the light show. Overall, I came to value the quietness and seclusion the retreat offered, but truth in advertising is important. There's also no wifi – I think that makes sense for a retreat, but it is something that people want to be aware of.

The area in which the villa is located is amazing. So much beautiful nature and so many birds. The room was big, comfortable, well equipped, had toiletries, a fridge that actually cools and a kettle including coffee and tea. We enjoyed relaxing on the very comfortable garden chairs. Dinner was delicious. They installed a wifi router in our room when we arrived and the internet in and around the villa worked well. The villas looked quite new. Although there was airco available we did not have to use it as it was getting quite chilly during the night. It was possible to pay with card (+3% bank charge). Overall a nice stay but some issues to be fixed (see below) to have maximum value for money.

The sheets did not smell fresh and the towels smelled like chemicals. The electrical sockets were terrible, we really struggled to keep our 2 phones charged during the night. They did not serve any alcohool on the premises. The swimming pool was dirty. They mentioned they can clean it for us though (we were the only 2 customers in the resort). No internet connection in restaurant area.

The location is beautiful! It has pin drop silence. Completely secluded so great if you're looking to disconnect from the world and connect with nature and music

The wifi wasn't working and there is no reception in this place, so I basically had no internet or general connectivity the whole time I was there, which made me feel a bit unsafe since I was travelling alone. They must make sure they have a replacement dongle atleast if the internet is not working

The resort was a very wonderful place to stay. Cottages are beautiful and well done, with a natural look. There is a great fire pit in the central area to sit around in the evening. Hospitality was great. Overall an amazing experience.

The location on Booking.com wrongly stated the distance from fort at1.1km. Actually it was over 12kms away 😞

The surrounding nature was beautiful and it was very peaceful. The staff made a fire and we sat relaxing around the fire. The meal was absolutely delicious!

We could have used a second blanket in the room as it was a bit cold.

Nice location, friendly staff, small property in a beautiful setting.

They could do a little extra effort in the dining area and have things a bit more clean there.

A very good place to stay especially for people who are planning to go with family and friends. The staff is very well behaved and they are always ready to help you. Food is also good.
