Really nice hotel in Stintino close to the AMAZING (!!!) beach of La Pelosa. Free parking within the hotel grounds was great for our car; plenty of parking at the rear in the shade. We spent 3 days here. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was abundant with plenty of choice (including eggs). The lovely staff bring coffee to your table to order. I'm a tea drinker & I appreciated there being teapots (yay!!) of different sizes available to brew your own. Our room was always cleaned whilst we were having breakfast. The breakfast area is on the terrace with a lovely view of the Mediterranean & set amongst the beautiful flowered potted garden. The pool is large with a bar service & a great place if you're holidaying with kids. La Pelosa is a 5 minute drive away but the hotel offered a shuttle to/from the beach. For those uninformed.....do your research beforehand about La Pelosa, particularly if you're there in summer. It's jaw droppingly beautiful & only a certain number of people are allowed on the beach at any one time & you must buy a ticket for each day you want to spend on the beautiful beach. They cost 3.50 euros per person per day but sadly for us tickets were booked out until the middle of September. However, before 8am & after 6pm there is free access to the beach which is what we did daily.......saw the sights in the area during the day & headed to the beach after 6pm. Beware of the beach rangers as they strictly check beach admission. Parking also is an issue at the beach but after 6pm we generally found it easy but again beware of the parking attendants. Parking is free after 8pm. Download the EASYPARK app which you can use in Italy, Spain & other European destinations; it makes parking very easy indeed. We had a lovely time at this nice family run hotel & would definitely stay there again.

We booked an economy room & it was great. We don't go away to stay in our room......it's basically just to sleep in. This room was adjacent to the terrace so when breakfast started at 8am it was fairly noisy but hey, we were generally awake by then anyway. So far it's been the most expensive place we've stayed at but it is high season & every man & his dog is at or wants to be at La Pelosa. I would definitely come back but it would be late September onwards when the kids are back at school & the crowds are mostly gone.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly kind and always willing to help, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic – fresh, varied, and delicious every morning. One of the highlights was the beautifully flowered garden and terrace, which created a peaceful and charming atmosphere. The location couldn't have been better – close to both the center and the beaches, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and warm hospitality!

The stay was fantastic overall! The location was great, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. A big highlight was the free shuttle service to La Pelosa beach, super convenient if you don’t want to pay for parking €1.50/€2 per hour. Giancarlo, the driver, was lovely and made sure to pick us up on the way back. The rooms were very spacious, with a comfortable bed and strong air conditioning. Everything was spotless, including the bathrooms, and the cleaning staff were happy to tidy up the room daily if needed. The breakfast buffet was another great feature, offering a wide variety of options, both sweet and savoury, including fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, pastries, and yoghurts. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful sea view was such a treat. There’s also a pool at the hotel (we didn’t use it, but it looked like a decent size).

There was a kettle for tea, but unfortunately the plug didn’t work. Reception kindly gave us hot water in a cup, which was appreciated, but not ideal if you want more than one cup. The only real downside was finding some mouse droppings on the outdoor set on our balcony terrace, not inside the room, but still unpleasant and something that should be addressed.

We got a great room with terrace, the breakfast was great (the best we had in Italy), the staff was wonderful and they provided thev mandatory beach equipment to make the day out perfect. It is a bit far from the famous beach, but the provided shuttle works fine. Has all services near by.

The parking space is not enough for all the rooms and some cars park too close from the curve - the curve to get in is tricky - but we get used to it.

What a gorgeous hotel! We had a lovely 2 night stay here. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast was fab - fresh fruit, lots of healthy options too (which helped in between all the pasta we had) - yoghurt, eggs etc as well as the usual pastries and treats. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were pristine. We had a car and they have a large carpark with ample space each time we came and went. Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat!

Nothing to do with the hotel but if you go, book your space on Spiagga Pelosa far in advance! it was booked solid for a week when we arrived. Such a shame, hear its fabulous.

Our stay at Hotel Asinara was very pleasant, especially because of the rich and varied breakfast, which exceeded our expectations – there was truly everything one could wish for. We also want to commend the friendly staff and the daily room cleaning, which was done thoroughly. We appreciated that they changed our initial room, which had a bit of a musty smell, although we were given a smaller room with bunk beds, but it was still fine. The beaches nearby are beautiful, but note that you need to book a visit to La Pelosa Beach at least a day in advance on their website. There are two other beaches within a 10-15 minute walking distance, which is convenient.

The area around the hotel is quite peaceful, and in the evening, you need to drive to the town for more activity. It would be nice if the hotel offered some evening entertainment, snacks, music, or a bar, or at least a cozy café where guests could relax and hang out in the evening, so we wouldn’t need to drive into the city. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it!

The breakfast buffet was excellent, but the highlight was dining on the stunning outdoor terrace with its breathtaking sea views. Our room was spacious and featured direct garden access. The staff was exceptionally helpful, and the shuttle service to La Pelosa beach was very convenient.

We woke up rather late, which meant the cleaning staff had already passed our room and didn't return later in the day. This wasn't a problem since we were only staying for two nights, but it might become inconvenient for longer stays.

Buongiorno Very nice and smiling ladies at the reception. We received a lot of information about attractions around the town. A good morning smile with breakfast which was amazing. Just like the delicious coffee we drank on the terrace. As for the room and the terrace overlooking the sea, we did not expect it to be so large. A plus is the proximity to the town where we walked in the evening to eat delicious food and ice cream. It's a small town, but that's the charm of such places in Italy and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and its nearby location Spiaggia La Pelosa

Lovely hotel with really friendly pleasant staff. The room size was very good and we had a beautiful sea view room. Exceptionally clean throughout the whole hotel. Breakfast was very good selection and the coffee was great. Great location for La Pelosa beach and there is also a courtesy bus to get you there. Easy walking distance to the port of Stintino and Marina for restaurants and day trips.

Breakfast felt abit frenetic. The selection was great but it could be spread out abit better as it felt very crowded and uncomfortable at times. The coffee was great but the table service to get it was a bit hit and miss and there wasn’t really enough staff members available for the number of guests that all wanted coffee at the same time. Wasps were also an issue so some preventive measures would be useful

The breakfast was amazing. A fresh variety of foods different everyday. The view from our balconies was great. Also, the staff was very keen on making our stay memorable, so thanks again for the lovely hospitality. They were able to plan an Asinara Excursion for us, and it was just perfect.

I would have liked a more thicker blanket/duvet at night, but there were none available. I suppose it just is like that in Italy. Refillable dispensers for shower gel and shampoo would be preferable to using single use plastics in the shower.
