Conveniently located. The manager allowed me to check in early. I-80 had a lot of icy areas with lots of accidents, so I decided to stay in the area rather than trying to continue towards Iowa. If you’re looking for a Hilton or Ritz Carlton, this isn’t for you. But, if you want a quaint motel that meets all your needs, this is it. The rooms are spotless. Comfy bed and pillows that aren’t overly fluffy to cause neck issues and not flat. Large room with desk, solid cable channels (since I can’t drive anywhere very helpful ) They have a little snack area that has granola bars, apples, and vending machines. Free hot water for tea and also coffee and hot chocolate available. They have a continental breakfast available. Would definitely stay again

My son needed to print an identification sheet in color for the ACT but forgot to do it at home. The front desk did it for free, which was a huge help. The motel was less than 5 minutes from the ACT site. The motel's location and check-out time of 11 am gave me time to get in two hours of good work while my son was taking the ACT. There was plenty of parking near the best door to reach our room. All of the employees were very friendly to me and others I saw. The room was an excellent value.

Anthony at the front desk is the BEST-every time we've stayed there. The property is clean, easy to find, and has everything we need. It doesn't pretend to be a 4 star hotel, but is easily the best value in Rawlins. We used to (over a decade ago) stay at a different property in Rawlins which was double the price and had nothing more to offer for the added price tag. So glad we found 1st Choice Inn many years ago when we were vendors for a craft show and needed a less expensive place with standard amenities.

This was a perfectly decent hotel at a very good price. If you are breezing through town on your way to anywhere, There's no reason to spend a ton of money elsewhere, go budget! The bed was comfortable and had a bed bug cover on the mattress (yes, I checked) the room was huge, water was hot, and the air conditioner worked, quietly. These are my hotel requirements and I saved $100. If you need a hotel for sleeping, stay here. If you want a pool and a restaurant, go elsewhere.

The carpet is pretty tired.

Large, clean room with king bed. Traveling with a dog and they put us right by the back door so easy access to dog area. The room is much nicer than I expected for the price. All new appliances and furniture. WiFi is very fast and stable. Great place for an overnight stop. Don't let the outside fool you. This is a very nice motel, just a strange looking building on the outside.

Train runs right behind the hotel, but it is not too loud with AC running.

The rooms were cozy like grandma's house water pressure was amazing..everyone friendly. I ran into the manager April I believe at the laundromat as I locked my keys in the car she proceeded to go to the hotel and look for something for me to use to get in and then call friends until she found something that I could use and she helped me get in my truck she wouldn't above and be on the call of duty she's a kind of person I would want running my business for sure and everybody there seemed very nice and welcoming You can't go wrong with staying there.

Nice clean room, very comfortable bed. Close to interstate when you are just passing through.

They advertised breakfast until 9am. At 8:40am the door was shut and idk if there was ever a breakfast or not. There did not appear to be. This was on a Sunday morning.

The room was very nice had been remodeled , there was no breakfast but the price of the room more than made up for that. The lady at the desk was great and got us a room very handy to parking.

I just wish there was one of these motels in every town

It was so clean! Don’t let the metal on the building fool you; this place is nice! The staff is nice! The sheets and bathroom are CLEAN!

They still have to offer smoking rooms and you can unfortunately smell it throughout the entire building. The staff was very very nice and accommodating about it but, unless it became fully non-smoking I would not be able to stay again.

It was clean quiet and the whole motel was clean. Easy access to outside for my eas dogs. Very nice guests. Just homey.

Ceiling piece in bathroom had water damage and caulk missing. A few things here and there. Mainly out dated. BUT the price paid was comfy clean and quiet
