The hotel is charming and attractive, with a well-kept facility. The atmosphere is perfect for a small town getaway, away from the bustling streets of Barcelona. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the ladies who worked there kept the place tidy and provided breakfast for a fee. They were attentive to all guests' needs and were quick to follow up on any requests. They even made sure to accommodate my little one's dietary requirements.

The hotel was situated quite near to the airport, only about 20 minutes away from it. However, it was a bit further from the city than I had anticipated. As a result, we decided to rent a car to help us navigate around Barcelona. Renting a car turned out to be an excellent decision as it gave us the opportunity to visit other historical sites in Barcelona that were less crowded with tourists and allowed us to interact more with the locals.

A very nice boutique hotel with spacious rooms, beautiful garden and clean pool. It’s situated in a very calm area. Short walk to the center of the village where the restaurants are and few minutes drive to Sitges.

On the weekend the restaurant’s guests were super noisy until 1am.

We loved the buildig very much, it is very beautiful and has a colonial style. That really gave the extra touch. The staff was very friendly and flexible. We will definitely come back!

Just a small thing that is not really worth mentioning but we just put in here to give our feedback. It's not a reason not to go back ;) The ventilation of the shower was pretty loud and there was no option to turn it off, without turning of the light. Because we were with our baby, it would have been comfortable to be able to shower without the noise of the ventilation.

Welcoming Staff: Judith, Sergi, Eugenia, and Ana were incredibly welcoming and genuinely happy to assist us. Their friendliness and warmth gave the place a wonderful family touch, making us feel right at home. Pool: The pool was a fantastic addition, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It was very quiet, exceptionally clean, and never crowded, providing a serene atmosphere for us to enjoy. Great Location: The hotel’s location is in a charming neighborhood with little to no traffic. We loved the peaceful surroundings and the convenience of being close to local attractions, dining, and shopping. It truly felt like a hidden gem.

The staff was very professional and helpful. The room itself was large, well decorated. The bed was very comfy and there was 2 sitting area in the room. We also had access to a beautiful patio that was perfect for the aperitivo. There was also a huge closet to leave your luggage and keep the general room clean. We had daily housekeeping which was also very appreciated.

The shower head was a bit low, my spouse who is a bit taller then me didnt have water on his head. There was also a sewage smell on the second day only, probably not the hôtel fault, but the smell was still a bit strong

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Palou 1874. The hospitality provided by the woman running the hotel was exceptional, she made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. Despite arriving tired and warm, she immediately provided us with a room to change into our bathing suits while our room was being prepared. The hotel itself is cozy and intimate, with only a few rooms, which made it feel personal and homey. The pool and backyard are fantastic and our room was beautifully decorated, clean, and it is truly the Spanish dream. The attention to detail in the interior design is wonderful, the woman running this hotel has a really good eye for design. Staying at Hotel Palou 1874 felt like being invited into someone's home rather than staying at a hotel. We cannot recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful and welcoming stay. It was truly a memorable experience, and we can’t wait to return! /Astrid & Sahand

This hotel is wonderful! The staff is super nice, the building and common areas are comfortable, tidy and beautiful and there's also a pool. Loved the room as well, with its big balcony. The room was extremely silent and we had a great night of sleep.

The shower was leaking but it wasn't a big deal. Just the heads up that the shower window is transparent and you can see it from the bed, so if you go there with friends or colleagues you might want to cover it with something.

Anna at reception was an excellent host. Extremely attentive and helpful with suggestions of local sights and activities. The room was wonderfully atmospheric of an old Spanish hotel and the power or the shower fantastic. The garden area around the pool is immaculate and is a lovely place to relax under an umbrella with a beer. There was also free parking nearby the hotel(next to the roundabout)

Nice room in a beautiful old house with lots of originality and charm. Very quiet smaller town about 1/2 hour drive from airport- good for a first or last night stay. Very excellent breakfast with fresh fruit and juices, jamon, croissants, toast, jam, cheese and good coffee. Secure parking for €10 one street away. Very nice hosts…

Very clean and antique Spanish experiences. Lovely place for relaxing. Adviced to have a car if stay at the hotel. Enjoy the pool and the outside garden. Breakfast was simple and tasty.

The bed was two mattresses put together. Was very uncomfortable since there was a crack in the middle you end up in between the bed if you are a couple
