Traveling, we usually choose apartments in the historic center of cities. Looking for apartments in Barcelona, accidentally found information about Solifemar in Casteldefels. Despite the distance from the Solifemar to the Barcelona Center is 20 km, the description of the apartment and photo of the terrace with the look at the sea did not leave us indifferent. We chose this apartment. And it was a very successful choice. Our positive emotions from this apartment were no less than from the famous tourist monuments of Barcelona. The apartment is clean, comfortable, well equipped. You can cook your own food in it. What is very comfortable is that the kitchen is a separate small room in this apartment. Although we also liked the restaurant at the hotel. Our special enthusiasm was caused by the terrace area no less than the room area. Noticeable is the careful attitude in the hotel to people with disabilities. A great positive is the ability to settle with pets.

The location is absolutely perfect, right on the beach with a great view. Inside the apartment , there is a separate kitchen with all you need, living room with an amazing balcony with a view and a bed room, better than the pictures. It's warm and has hot water running all the time. You can rent bikes and there is a great restaurant that you can also use. Staff is friendly.

Our room was first floor which was not the best view and our apartment was dated compared to the one next door. Wish I could chose the floor and the type during the booking process. Also, there was loud noise outside early in the morning made by staff ( I think they were dragging the cleaning carts and possibly only our room was affected due to the fact it was the last room in the block) which woke us up pretty much every day. Other than that was perfect.

The room is a large space with a kitchen and bath but the best part is the large terrace with both a table and chairs and two nice loungers for relaxing in the sun. It was a great spot to watch the Kiteboarders and windsurfers speed by and all the people enjoying the beachside walk, plus the view of the sea! The location is great for going into the city as it is just a few minutes from Barcelona and the airport. The room was amazingly clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to cook simple meals, although the restaurant also serves great food and there are other interesting cafes and bars nearby for variety. The new elevator to the upper floors is a welcome addition and the availability of bicycles to borrow is another plus. Good wifi coverage. We will be back !

The beach was within walking distance. I had a sea view room with balcony. Unfortunately, the weather was a letdown. But I was only there for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I hired a car which enabled me to visit central Barcelona, however I chose to park up at Zona Universitaria and get a 48 hour travelcard online which I then collected at the Zona Universitaria metro station. There are machines in the station too so you can probably purchase a travelcard there too perhaps. Supermarkets were a 5-10 minute drive away so I was able to get groceries as I prefer cook than eat out, and it's cheaper. I travelled to Sitges (via toll road). As this was my first time to Barcelona, I didn't know what to expect. On reflection I probably would have considered staying in Sitges.

Very convenient place to stay before a flight from Barcelona airport. I used to stay in El Prat de Llobregat area in the past before an early flight from Barcelona, but in the end this hotel is only 10min drive from the airport, so pretty much the same as if you stay in El Prat and you can enjoy the beach right across the street. The sunrise was wonderful to watch. A few nice restaurants were also open in the area. The room was clean and comfortable with reasonable prices.

The lady at the reception made a small mistake when we checked in, informing us the booking included the breakfast. I even showed my surprise, as I thought it's not and she confirmed again. When we came for it in the morning, we were told it's not. Not a big deal, but I just wanted to mention it.

The location and facility were well maintained but just be prepared for stairs if you have luggage. There was lots of parking and taxi service. The view and room I had, were peaceful. Front desk was nice. The only problem was it's far from grocery stores and only 1 restaurant is open from 12 to late. Theirs on site has short hours, as does the one out on the beach. So if you need food, you may have to taxi to go shopping or eat at restaurant prices. Over a long time it does add up but okay for 2 or 3 days.

Just the know that stores are far away ahead of time, so I could taxi there first before arriving. Hotel restaurant hours are brief so keep note. But there are 2 other options across the street. Hot water took a while to come through the shower but it was all good overall for the price. I had no neighbors so my room was quiet. But if busy, maybe easy to hear people next door.

The excellent location on the magnificent promenade compensates for the hefty price of the mediocre, somewhat outdated equipment. The hotel management was very generous in regards to bring our middle sized Samoyed dog because hotel policy allows small dogs up to 12 kg only.

Generators are running outside all night long. Presumably, the off-season had already started: there were silverfish in the bathroom and room, the awning was torn. After booking, we were informed that the parking spaces belonging to the hotel were unavailable due to construction work. Unusual: in 32 years since I travel to Spain, I had the first bath without a bathtub.

Rooms were lovely and clean and spacious. Staff were so helpful and very gracious - really made me feel comfortable as I was travelling alone. Even called to room demonstrate how the door worked when I didn’t understand that the door would remain locked from outside even though I could open it from outside (hadn’t experienced this before and thought it was broken). Also best of all the found my ID card in my room after checkout, let me know via email straight away which I missed and then proceeded to post it back to me in Ireland! View of the beach from my room was also really nice.

WiFi was good but would have preferred it was a little faster.

The hotel is at the beach and it is very clean but what makes it stand out are the people working there. Very kind and welcoming! Our daughter got sick the last night there and there was always a warm tea and advice from the staff. They even allowed us to stay past checkout time until it was time to go to the airport since she was in no condition to walk around. Thanks so much!

Everything was perfect, from first day when we arrived, staffs were kindly towards us, and wanted to help us with everything what we asked and needed. Apartman was clean, bed was comfortable, foods in their restaurant were delicious and at end i can say that whole place and our staying there was perfekt. Surley, we will come back again in that lovely place and Hotel 🥰

Only we needed new bed sheets when housekeeping change towels in our apartman, but it was oke and we survived without that service. 😅
