I arrived on a Sunday afternoon, so everything was pretty self-service. The lovely staff sent the codes to me by email & Whatsapp, which was really handy. Everything worked pretty well, and the house is in a really quiet and nice area. Public transportation to Barcelona is easily accessible with enough scheduling of S1 & S2. I was visiting a friend in the town center of Sant Cugat, and this was the only B&B around when I made the last-minute decision to book and stay around, glad that it turned out to be a good night's stay.

The house is located on the slightly far side of Valldoreix, and Google showed 2 routes; one was very hilly with ups-and-downs while the other was considerably better. I almost lost the will to continue ahead when I arrived and walked the former, so you'll have to be smart with this after the roundabout near the train station.

Pleasant, well-maintained location in the hills west of Barcelona. B&B Inés is located in Valldoreix, an autonomous community in the municipality of Sant Cugat del Vallès. Thanks to the quiet neighborhood, parking on the street in front of the domain is no problem. We chose this stay to discover new places in the inland of Catalonia. Sant Cugat del Vallès also has interesting tourist attractions such as some modernist buildings, a Benedictine abbey, Casa Museu Cal Gerrer (=Marilyn Monroe museum), Mercantic (=a big but cozy vintage sales place, the only Spanish comic museum, many parks and excellent restaurants. It's a pity that the name B&B Inés no longer fully describes what you get, as breakfast has no longer been available since March 2024. The friendly Inés gave us some tips for shopping, which is best done by car or public transport because of the distances and steep streets. Nevertheless with the spacious communal dining room and fridge on site some options for breakfast were possible. The airy communal living area also offers additional opportunities for relaxation. Because of the rather thin walls you can regularly hear doors opening and closing, as well as the running water in the water pipe of the adjacent room when someone takes a refreshing shower. We did not find this disturbing, but guests who expect low-noise rooms may be somewhat upset by this. The lack of a reception made our check-in less smooth because we had not received the promised codes by email. After telephone contact in Spanish, this problem was quickly resolved. We stayed there for a full week and enjoyed a nice holiday at an affordable price.

It's a really really nice place with amazing view, and the terrace is nice to chill and do some extra works. Very quiet neighborhood and nice host that lend me a steamer for my clothes and save my forgoten hat for me to pick up.

The location is only a bit far, so normally you can get there by bus with no problems, but if you come at midnight it can be tricky to arrange transport - however the walk back is also quite safe.

Everything is really clean! Nice yard and nice common areas inside. Really quiet and upscale neighborhood, loved it!

You cannot cook in the kitchen, there is a fridge and a microwave but they don’t allow to use the stove or the oven. It’s okay but would be a really good option because there is no restaurants really close.

The information on the booking site simply stated that no breakfasts were available but failed to note that a well-equipped kitchen is available for guests who wish to self cater. The whole ambience was attractive and great attention had been paid to every detail, with small, attractive and personal touches everywhere. The property also has a very comfortable lounge area for guests, tables and chairs on an outdoor terrace and the bathing facilities were not a "shared bathroom" but male and female toilet cubicles and showers; very practical and not at all what we had expected. The info also stated that no parking was available, but there was plenty of parking outside of the property on the road in this quiet residential area. A car is important if choosing this location as it's a good 5 minute drive to the railway station. Trains into the city were fantastic; really quick, clean and plentiful, with car parking at the Valdereix station. This is very important given the emissions zone around Barcelona which makes it difficult for those driving into the city now. Sant Cugat is a high-end residential area and was full of gorgeous shops and lots of really good restaurants. this is a great option for visiting Barcelona city as the metro goes straight into the city centre in 20 minutes. Will definitely go back when visiting Barcelona again.

Lack of rejas on the sliding doors in the bedroom. i personally like fresh air in the room and always open windows. In this case I felt uncomfortable as the shutters could easily be lifted by someone outside, who could then enter via the sliding door which was partially open to allow air in. As the bedroom opens out onto a communal terrace, this made me uncomfortable.

It is an amazing place to stay! So comfortable and clean enough. Scene is amazing from porch. Rooms are peaceful. Neighbourhood is quite and looking safe. We loved the place so much that after we arrived booked the second night. You can use the kitchen and microwave, kettle. Bedding is very clean. We could parked our car in front of the house. Only thing is, it is a little bit outside of the Barcelona. But there is a subway station (Valldoreix) within 20 min walking distance or 5 min by car. For us, price was affordable compared to the Barcelona and we couldn't find a park at the city center.

The BnB is very nice, with a lot of outdoor space to sit and chill. The host is super kind and i felt more than welcome. The BnB is clean and there is a little kitchen with a fridge and microwave. The bathrooms are separated by gender.

I was not able to cook, which in my case was inconvenient because i stayed for a week and didn't have money to go out to eat every night.

Very comfortable place situated in a quiet and safe suburbian area, way much exceeding my expectations. If you have a car going to Valldoreix metro station, to get to Barcelona easily, is just a few minutes away. Walking is also doable and takes like 20 minutes. Also a perfect base for trips to Montserrat, etc. The beds are super nice and high quality. Breakfast is basic but with good quality and fresh products. No lame factory made croissants but the real deal and crispy bread from the bakery. Owners have put much devotion in the design. Highly recommendable. Would definitely go here again.

Only cheese was missing for me at breakfast. I do not eat meat. That was really the only thing that could be improved.

The staff was really attentive to my needs and I was never answered with a bad face or an ambiguous reply. Everything was perfect, rules were clear, and they even had tips on local transportation and not so local transportation as well.

The only things I could come up as "bad" weren't in the hands of the staff so I won't add them here. You're just off to a nice and quiet staying in the mountains-ish with its pros and cons.

It's a nice simple B&B in a quiet area. Great if you want to explore Sant Cugat or Barcelona and have a nice place to spend the night in. The room is not big, but great for the night. The B&B is situated a bit away from most of the landmarks, but I actually liked it, the town is very calm, and there are a couple of restaurants / bars that I've eaten at better and cheaper than anywhere else in the area.

The check-in upon arrival is very simple, but you basically have to do it before - provide your details and a deposit online. Which is understandable, since there are many people coming and going, just a thing to be mindful of, especially if you make a late booking.
