We loved Valldoreix. It was so quiet and peaceful. The Valldoreix train station was so easy to get to Barcelona. Once in Barcelona, you only needed to get to Catalunya station and back home to lovely Valldoreix. Nico is probably one of the coolest guys in Barcelona. His English is so good that we found ourselves visiting as much as we could. He probably got tired of us yakking away. Hey, we're from Minnesota. The others workers are as sweet as can be. Very attentive breakfast. Wonderful coffee. Kitty Delta was charming. The hot tub was so wonderful after a long walking day in Barcelona. The sauna was, well, hot. Daily cleaning, very comfortable beds. Ambience all over the place.

I didn't like the distance from the train station Yes, there is a bus. Some days we walked the distance from hotel to the train station, about 20 minutes. It really is a minor inconvenience. As an older couple, we might have liked a bit more lighting in back by the hot tub. You do get the impression that this place really comes alive in the summer. I could see it as a true oasis in the hot months. All sorts of fun little corners to unwind. Gardens, rooftops, restaurant next door. Nighttime fun. So if you are there for the hiking and just to relax, amazing. If you want more time in Barcelona, I would recommend a closer neighborhood.

Lovely truly boutique-ey hotel with beautiful garden and spectacular roof terrace in the suburbs of Valldoreix. Staff and breakfast were great, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Maybe if it had been busier then we would have enjoyed it less - we had the roof terrace to ourselves - but I think it would still have been very special. Nice pizzeria next door.

The location would be better if it were closer to the FGC station and/or closer to the forest. It is a bit suburban - although some of the suburban houses are spectacular examples of Modernist architecture.

We have stayed here a number of times - it's a good location for us. The staff are super nice, it's very clean and comfortable. Our preferred room is Mimosa which is large and bright with a nice balcony. Some of the other rooms are rather small but always comfortable. Good bus and train connections near by

Breakfast is a bit basic - but ok

Their genuine hospitality created an atmosphere that felt like home away from home. From offering valuable recommendations for local attractions to promptly attending to any request, their dedication to ensuring an unforgettable experience was truly commendable. And let's not forget about the food! The culinary delights served at this accommodation were extraordinary. Each meal was a delightful journey for the taste buds. In addition to the comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and exquisite cuisine, the cleanliness of the surroundings was impeccable. The pristine neighborhood, with its fresh air and lush greenery, further enhanced the overall experience. Taking leisurely walks among the hills and exploring the nearby forests became a rejuvenating ritual that allowed me to reconnect with nature and find inner peace. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. It is a place that seamlessly combines comfort, professionalism, and friendliness.

An attractive room with colorful bedding, a sofa, and, especially a patio with table and chairs and a second-floor view over the back garden. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful, patient, and friendly

Parking was not adequate with only one place outside on the street and a very narrow spot on the property.

Small hotel with 12 rooms, good breakfast (included in the price) but it would have been nice to add vegetables and eggs. Pleasant staff and helpful with everything.

There was a problem with hot water, it takes a long time for it to arrive

We spent two nights here at the end of a six week trip around Europe. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. One of us was a bit under the weather and the staff couldn’t have been more caring and helpful. Thanks so much to all the staff for your kindness!

Breakfast was ok, good coffee. Location for us was very good as we were visiting family near by. The two members of staff we meet were fantastic. Our room was good, comfortable bed, clean with good towels.

There wasn’t always hot water for the shower and the Wifi was weak

On the outskirts of Barcelona, nested in a residential neighborhood, this small, quiet hotel is a gem to rest and resource calmly, while being close enough to the big city. Great restaurants with local, Catalan cuisine nearby.

Some of the installations (parasols, for instance) are dated and in need of urgent replacement with new products.
