A proper castle with interior to match. This was a getaway for my wife and was absolutley perfect. A view towards the castle garden and calm atmosphere really made for a nice relaxing weekend. Very friendly staff and just 10 min to Märsta Centrum also very close to Arlanda so this is a fun alternative instead of the airport hotel.

The breakfast was a bit lacking depending on what time you got there but perfectly ok. The main menu for dinner was a bit to fancy for taste so we mostly went in to Märsta center just 10min away.

We are so glad that we decided to book this accommodation instead of airport hotel. It was easily accessible from the airport with a car. We unfortunately arrived after dark and only stayed one night. We should have stayed an extra night. We were upgraded to a room in the theatre, closer to the main building. Our room was clean, comfortable and inviting. Internet was an added bonus. Breakfast was quite a spread, something for everyone, very tasty. Staff were friendly and informative. Just a pity the castle viewing was closed for the season.

Beautiful surroundings and lovely historic setting, where we ate a decent breakfast. Great for walks in gardens, woods and lakeside. Room quite ok. Very good price through phone app deal.

Staff were amiable enough but quite aloof (maybe because our room was in the annex?). No wifi or any warning about that. Had to move the tea table in the room and to reach a plug socket for the kettle, and search for a socket for the night lights (it's waist height behind the thick curtain). Wake-up alarm on tv was disfunctional, which we found out by setting it properly but not being woken up.

The room (I Chose an economy room) was simple but very clean, the furniture and decoration chosen with care and very welcoming. Extremely clean. The room was in the annex, not in the castle, surrounded by the wood. Extremely calm and peaceful. Tea and coffee were offered on the aisle. The breakfast was in the castle. Really elegant, extremely good quality, like in a luxury hotel, which it is.

It is not so clear that the annex where the economy rooms are is a simple building, something like a student house. But for the price it was completely okay

The food was very good quality, and they have a lake where you can swim in, the green areas are amazing and the room was quiet and comfortable. This place is 20min from the airport, which means is near enough to relax for your next flight, but not that close to having all the noise of the planes.

The service was not very good in the reception they did not explain the property so I did not know they have a sauna that I could not use, and you have to reserve in advance your dinner/lunch/breakfast because they won't serve you if you are not in the list, and as there is nothing else around, your only other option is to be hungry. The room was not as beautiful as in the pictures. The only option to get there is by taxi.

• The area is very quiet and you will mostly be on your own • The location is great for walks and enjoying nature and you can also swim in the lake • You can stay directly at the castle or at the annex building, which might not look so appealing but the rooms are cosy and clean and the gym and sauna were just opposite our room • Breakfasts are abundant and excellent, staff very helpful and nice • You can even use the parking for free and spend a night in your caravan or tent

Wonderful choice, suberb setting, even the low-cost accommodation is tastefully furnished & set in the forest- very peaceful. magnificant grunds and great breakfast

there is no public transport there at the weekends- it requires taking taxis if you have luggage.

Nice place. Nice decoration. Clean and historic . The receptionist was very good and the area surround the castle very peaceful :)

Breakfast was okay nothing special. Pancake was chewy. The breakfast staff didn’t greet us when we came . The turkey ham and fruit was empty when we came and the staff didn’t refill at all so we took others instead

Unbelievably beautiful buildings and room and land and lake... it was like a fairy tale. Ingela was an amazing manager. Leonte and staff made a superb dinner.

Have to take a taxi or Uber to get there quickly, transit isn't convenient. It is OK, well worth it.

Beautiful setting and grounds, with walking paths. Former royal castle, now the only one open for the public to stay. The room was lovely and featured two classic ceramic fireplaces (no longer used) as well as a soaking tub and walk-in shower. Quite convenient to Arlanda Airport.

Bedding selection was too warm for the season.
