Hotel Kristina is very central but offset just enough for full privacy. It’s beautiful property and outdooor area with a view to the lake. They have disc golf available to you as well as a few bikes to loan. They make everything very easy for you. Breakfast is also included and is a delicious Swedish breakfast along with a few typical American choices, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage. Not to mention the best food we had in Sigtuna for dinner. The best thing is the staff! They are so warm and helpful and really cares for your well being on their property. Superb customer service, well done!

Nothing much. There was a few days that did get hot here but they offered fans in our room.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Sigtuna, I would highly recommend Hotel Kristina! I loved the atmosphere (I always felt welcome), the location (perfectly situated near the Sigtuna centre), the room (cosy and well-decorated), and the outdoor space (where you can sit and have dinner or just a drink all day). The staff is super-kind and the food is delicious.

I liked everything, but the stairs to reach the reception and the main building might be hard on some people (there is an elevator, but you need to call someone to operate it).

Property is very well located. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Alex was very helpful and nice to chat with. The single rooms are converted boarding school rooms. They are sizable, nice and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel provides nice shampoo/conditioner, soap and body lotion. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and vegan/celiac friendly. The patio is very nice and there also is a glass gazebo for rainy/chilly days. I will definitely be back.

I only have two, minor negative things to say: 1. It was hot when I stayed there and it was great that there was a fan provided, but the fan was quite noisy. 2. It would be great if there were additional shelves in the bathroom and shower for the guest to put their own toiletries. The one little shelf is inadequate and there was nowhere to put my own shampoo/conditioner/wash bottles in the shower. I am sensitive so must use my own.

The building is an architectural gem from the 1930s in near perfect condition with all the necessary modern amenities. The furniture and art work are delightful. The outdoor spaces are also impressive. Our room was small with limited storage space, but was more than adequate for our short stay. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great with a very large selection, including a lot of healthy options and options for people with dietary restrictions. The location is a short walk from the town center, but far enough way to be very quiet.

Our room was at the end of a long hall and the internet signal was a bit weak, but still useable. A mini-fridge would have been nice. However, these are minor issues. The property is fantastic.

My guests and I booked this hotel in the oldest town in Sweden for the night before our wedding. I needed to arrive earlier for planning, leave and return with circa 33 people. The staff worked so hard to settle us in as quickly as possible and to support us through all of our needs as much as possible. They really went above and beyond and I cannot thank them enough. We were all from out of country and for many, it was their first Swedish trip. To top it off, the restaurant does great food and on our first arrival we were treated with the most delightful pastries. It is located walking distance from the old town and ruins. You really cant ask for more.

Fantastic boutique hotel a seven minute walk from the centre of town. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and they were happy to serve a late night-cap at 11pm. There are three buildings, previously an old boarding school, so I can understand some people saying the rooms were small, but just appreciate the buildings came before the hotel. In any case, unless you're into throwing your partner from one corner of the room to the other, the rooms are more than adequate (go spend a week in Paris), spotlessly clean and surprisingly, all come with a bed! As part of the original school estate, a two minute walk up the hill there is a 25 meter indoor swimming pool, including two spring diving boards, one tower dive platform and a spotlessly clean hot tub (the manager / owner here is super friendly and a bit of a character), as well as basketball courts, playing fields etc. As for the town, it was both interesting and beautiful. The oldest modern civilized street in Sweden, but interestingly, by default, the icecream man suggested it is also the last known civilization of the Vikings. I'd recommend taking a walk west along the promenade until you get to the playing field on the right, and you'll see some amazing boats and beautiful homes. It's a perfect "off the beaten track" Swedish town visit for any foreigners that are flying into Stockholm airport (only a 20 min drive) Those that prefer wild swimming, there is a swimming pontoon only four minutes walk from the hotel - exit the hotel, turn left at the main road, then first right down the one-way road. Wasn't able to find a coffee recommendation candidate, albeit I did visit Cicciotto's on the Friday evening and it had a fantastic weekend bar vibe.

I honestly don't think they could have been more accommodating, it was a perfect stay, and I couldn't recommend Sigtuna as a Sweden visit more.

Attractive location a few minutes walks from the town centre and from Lake Malaren. Comfortable, well-equipped rrom. Excellent breakfast buffet and all day free coffee. The restaurant menu is quite small in its range but the food is of outstanding quality. The staff are all friendly and helpful

Room cleaning/servicing arrangements occasionally go astray.

"We stayed at Hotel kristina for a week in July and loved it. The hotel staff are all really friendly and speak really good english. The rooms we had were nice, updated and always really well cleaned, many thanks to the houskeeping team. There's also a free coffee and Tea station, in the restaurant (with oat milk also available) which we used a lot. There's plenty of seating areas, around the hotel and outside in the really well kept courtyard and conservatory. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of different options (also things for Vegans) and once again the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. One of the biggest highlights for us was the dinner...My husband and I are Vegan and we booked dinner ahead for every night of our stay. We thought we'd get one or maybe two vegan options...but no, the chefs made us something new every night of our stay. Everything we ate was amazing. Huge thanks to the kitchen team and the waiting on staff, all brilliant. Everyone of was really helpful and friendly, and the hotel itself was brilliant. 10 out of 10!" Hope to be back soon. I liked how friendly the staff was and the breakfast buffet and the main building. I did not have time to check out the pool or the sauna. I also liked the heated bathroom tiles. So practical.

Our building was placed 50 meters away from the main building so having to put on a coat before having coffee was too much 😂 Our room was a little small and did not a coffee machine or a chocolate for the newcomers. I appreciate the small details in a 4-star hotel.

I actually returned a week later with circa 50 of my guests for my wedding all from out of country. The hotel took great care of us, assisted with our every need. The breakfast was delicious as was the dinner. They had the most delightful pastries during the day with tea and coffee available. We could not ask for more.

We struggled a bit with some of the showers and no real partition to avoid water going all over the bathroom but this appears to be a Swedish thing... 🤷🏽‍♀️
