The pool was really fun, not good for lengths but for messing around in or mini laps. The room wasn't large but that's not an issue if you're out and about. The decor felt like it was a Hercule Poirot TV show set. I would say the atmosphere was languid. Staff fine, nice etc. Wifi good. I had an excellent time there actually and felt very safe.

It looks like a weird location when you approach from the west, feels like a very residential quarter. Luckily there are plenty of signs on the road. It actually makes more sense if you get there from the town centre or the train station. It's not in the centre of town but that's actually really nice, quiet.

A very clean and pleasant hotel located very close to the train station which made for a great base to visit the many delights of the Italian Riviera. Our stay at the Coccodrillo was made fabulous by the very attentive reception team, who were friendly and could not do enough for us. Thank you to Sylvia and Giulio for checking us in early and out late and helping with speaking Italian and making nice cappuccinos :-)

Really minor and it didn’t affect our stay at all but our aircon didn’t work. I didn’t inform reception though so didn’t really give them chance to sort it which I’m sure they would have if they could.

Everything was excellent - especially the staff, communication and location of the hotel. Additional benefit of a small swimming pool also.

After the payment and extras (city tax, 2€ for a small cup of tea) - it is quite expensive. For the price I paid, it would be good to have had a kettle in the room included.

Great pool, nice breakfast, friendly staff, good AC and WiFi. Excellent location close to the train station, beach, marina and center of Varazze.

perfect location , short distance to the train station, the center and the sea. Very friendly staff, beautiful room and hotel. Comfortable bed and pillows and great breakfast. I highly recommend it .

Veggie options for the breakfast could be improved and lifeguard at the swimming pool could speak a bit of english.

i love the location of the hotel, near the train station, the citycentre and the beach. It's also very clean, the staff was very accomodating and there was a golden retriever named Jerry who i think is of the owner of the hotel's dog.

the fact that the breakfast is not always included. You have to pay separately for the breakfast, but it was worth the price

Excellent accommodation with friendly staff and good service. Breakfast excellent. Ideal location.

Our only negative was that the pillows were a little too hard.

Nice room Location OK Quiet (though rooms on sea side being closer to railway lines might not be as quiet).

Coffee at breakfast was bad. Food was good.
