Super friendly and helpful staff. Everybody are all smiles and eager to help you with anyhting. Special thanks to one distinguished gentleman, whose name I do not recall I'm afraid. This epithet of a man helped me with a jellyfish sting. I was a bit worried since I had to visit a local hospital in the evening, with hotel check out and flights awaiting the next morning. The helpful staff member told me not to worry about anything, and insisted I go take care of the jellyfish sting as he would sort things out and reassured my worried girlfriend there was nothing to worry about. This was an excellent showcasing of not only Malaysian kindness, but being an outstanding human being as well. I for sure will take example of this man and the way he carried himself, hoping to be more like him someday.

Nothing really not to like. Some othet guests were noisy one night but that is not the hotel's fault.

Fab location, walking distance from Maha-Tower and night market, 5 mins ride to both the best shopping malls in Langkawi. Nice small shopping and eating places around including pharmacies. Hotel is pretty neat with helpful staff and food options is also good. Tried spa also for foot massage - A must recommendation after a day full of activities

I had a wonderful stay at Bayview Hotel Langkawi and would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers. One of the highlights was the breathtaking bayview from my hotel room — waking up to the serene waters and stunning sunsets was truly unforgettable. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the island. I also appreciated the friendly staff who accommodated my request for a late checkout, which made my departure much more relaxed.

While my overall experience was very positive, I think a few minor adjustments could elevate the stay even further. Improving the internet speed, ensuring the lifts operate smoothly, and expanding the breakfast menu to include more local and international options would be great.

The hotel staff were very helpful and considerate. Buffet breakfast was very good with a wide variety of Asian (both south and south-east) breakfast options that changed every day. The swimming pool was also very popular among guests and kids. Didn't use the gym and spa, so can't comment. The rooms and bathrooms were large with great views of the bay. The view to Maha Tower is especially pretty at night. There are 2 restaurants and a pub with reasonably priced food and drinks.

Lifts - very slow, and the doors shut quite quickly unless someone keeps their finger on the door open button. Long wait times are to be expected during busy times like the morning breakfast rush and evenings. Beds - Very hard and uncomfortable. Location - Be prepared to travel 15 to 30 minutes to get to any of the activities and attractions. Grab taxis are easy to get.

On duty officer was not friendly. They encouraged to hire Taxi on 2-4 hour basis. They should help to hire a metered taxi. I normally use "UBER", but in Malaysia GRAB is used. After spending some money I downloaded "GRAB" and used the software in Johor Bahru and KL .

🔹 AV System Upgrade – A larger flat-screen TV with smart capabilities and a HiFi system would elevate the in-room entertainment experience. Bayview Hotel Langkawi offers great value for money, especially for those who want a comfortable stay in a prime location. With a few AV upgrades, it could easily be a 5-star experience. Would definitely recommend and return!

The staff is all very friendly and attentive, once we've arrived they upgraded our room with a sea view and everything felt comfortable and very clean. There's a swimming pool, yoga room, gym. Generally the decor feels a bit outdated but still is kep extremely clean and well maintained. The position i also think is pretty good, there are few restaurant nearby

the only thing that i would have liked is the fact that it was not possible to open the window, and I would have loved to let some air enter the room to dry some clothes as well, especially considered that on the island it get extremely humid

Breakfast good enough. Location okay - can get grab car fast. Staff nice. Coffee house staff and Kitchen Chef helpful - they made me a fresh plate of fried beehoon when the first one didnt suit my taste - I dont like sour taste. Luggage storage man very friendly and helpful. The sea view was fantastic! can see sunset on the sofa in the bedroom, no need to go on a sunset cruize. At night when the sea is no longer visible, the Maha Tower beautiful and soothing lighting takes over and makes your night time window view bright & interesting, instead of complete darkness when looking out the window.

The bed mattress is a bit sunken and hard - time to change a new one. The shower head are fixed to the wall, and since there isnt a flexi hose, one cannot be moved around your body when shower - inconvenient.

The rooms, the beds were so comfortable!!, the cleanliness of the bedrooms, having connected rooms with our daughters, location, very kind staff, the pool was nice, the views from the bedroom, the bath tub and the shower were very good, the movies that were available on the bedroom TV, the lady that gave us information about the excursions was kind and patient…

Breakfast was average, there should be more variety of cheese, pastries like doughnuts or pain au chocolat, Nutella spread, fresh juice instead of processed. The coffee machine is very good but very slow, you should have at least 2, There should be air conditioning in the gym. There should be a little bar by the pool and background music, this would encourage people to stay there for longer. The lunch menu is very basic, you should have either 2 menus (lunch and dinner) or only one menu but more varied. There should be a pool table in the bar to encourage people to come in and stay. And the bar should stay open for longer maybe 2am.
