Host was very accommodating and efficient, room was clean and hotel was located at a very convenient spot with plenty of good restaurant options + mini mart + attractions nearby.

Rooms are not soundproof and unfortunately there were guests there were very loud while we were there, no hot water to shower with after 9 pm (I forgot why, I think due to water pressure issues or too many guests staying at the time?) which wasn't a big issue for me but something to be aware of.

The location was pretty good, with several restaurants and a convenience store in the neighbouring two streets, and more in town a short walk away. Also, it's only a short walk from the water's edge (and some very nice views across the bay). The room had a bathroom, air conditioning, and four openable windows (with curtains for privacy as well), although it was a little small. There was also filtered water in the common area, and the staff were helpful in outlining the tours and activities available on the island.

Check in is a bit difficult if you don't have a local SIM card or international roaming activated. When I arrived, the door was locked and there was a sign with four employees' phone numbers on it; I called the first number on the list, and a few minutes later a man arrived on a motorbike and let me in. Once he arrived things went quite well, but I feel like it's worth knowing that you will likely need local phone service to check in. Also, all the rooms are upstairs and there is no lift/elevator (not an issue for me, but worth knowing if you have mobility issues).

For the price you pay, this is the best hotel you can get in Langkawi. It might not be the super comfy hotel with nice rooms, its more of a hotel with smaller rooms but still works for someone who isn’t planing on staying in the room entire day. I stayed their for 7 days (with my wife) and also had to work few days as well. It was not easy as their table was not that big and didn’t have many space for our massive luggage as well. But it is what you should expect for this price. You can’t have high demands for such a cheap price. Specially the people who manages the place Victor and Chin are super helpful, they will guide you on everything that you need to see in Langkawi. Also you can get a scooter from them, as they rent scooters at the hotel itself. It was easier and also cheaper (we checked prices with some other places as well).

Everything was reasonable for the price you pay.

One of the closest budget hotel to Kuah Jetty. Basic amenities. We arrived later than the check-in time (informed ahead of the trip) and the staff/owner waited for us to arrive for check in

Bathroom is small, perhaps not too comfortable for bigger size persons

We loved our stay here. Handy for the town of Kuah, just a few minutes stroll away. Shops & restaurants nearby. Laundry across the road. Everyone was very friendly, especially Emma who works so hard to keep the rooms sparkling clean. Her English is very good too.

Shared fridge in the Reception area. Had various things stolen.

I loved the surrounding areas and the property itself was pretty homey and had good air conditioning, comfy bed, and private bathroom

the water pressure was a little weird in the showers

Location was close to the city center, staff was very helpful and considerate. We rented a motorbike for two days and minimal effort, much appreciated.

Walls are a bit thin, sometimes a little bit noisy.

The staff and owner are super nice and helpful, our room that we stayed in was basic but comfortable and had everything we needed. They helped us book tours and a scooter at discount prices compared to other local sellers

Nice room with large windows and comfy bed. Good location with lots of great malaysian food nearby. Not near the bar area, though there is a nice little bar round the corner. Good value for money.

Great location, close to Kuah town center and within a walking distance from supermarkets, street market. The staff was exceptional! We felt very welcomed. The room had a good size and the street was quiet.

No remarks.
