The location and facility were good and may have even exceeded our expectations. Our registration was on file and arrival/departure were totally hassle free.

Upon arrival (certainly not before) we were informed that the water park (the selling point of this facility) was not open/accessible. Luckily we are not "water people" and were passing through the Baxter/Brainard area enroute to Duluth. Had we been "water people" though we would have been totally surprised and dissapointed. The breakfast, although we did not have high expectations, was highly disappointing. There was nothing hot - neither was there any staffing to assist. The pancake machine, although appearing to be new/high-tech proved to be challenging as became the entertainment focal of the present guests with the resulting theme of "how the heck does thing work?' The apple juice, cold muffins and breakfast bars were outstanding!! :)

Really clean and nice room; comfortable bed!! And loved the bedding. Above average hotel breakfast!! I think the indoor water park is a huge perk for families and kids. They also had a party room and game room/arcade and fitness center. I noticed they had coin laundry on my floor as well; I didn’t use it but it is nice to have the option. The staff was friendly and helpful. I really appreciated my stay at this hotel!

There was some noise due to my room being directly next to the ice machine. The iron and ironing board were a bit dirty but I was able to easily clean them.

The people at the front desk were amazing. We had a little issue on our hand (our fault) and they did everything they could to help. Bed were comfy and rooms were decent.

Rooms weren't 100% clean. We got a handicap accessible room and the shower wasn't clean at all. And we were on the first floor close to the pool so the room was humid and everything felt damp. Got to change rooms and second room was better. Just minor stains around the room. Pool was fun but loud.

This hotel was amazing! The rooms were nice and the facilities were good too. Good variety of breakfast items and foods available in the waterpark. Convenient location to walk to a few places to get other food options as well.

Bathrooms didn't seem to have a fan vent, but probably work based on construction. A damp feel in the room most likely due to first floor by water park, but wasn't horrible. AC until worked well.

Breakfast was amazing. The water park was so fun and well staffed. They also allowed us to check in early with no additional cost. Staff were helpful and kind

Bed was not comfortable, and exterior was a little run down. Waterpark staff should be paying better attention. Lots of interacting with one another and on their phones when they should have been watching the swimmers.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We needed a little more time after check out and they allowed us to stay longer without a fee. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The bests were quite comfortable.

I liked that our room was clean and comfortable. I loved the waterpark. The breakfast in the morning provided lots of good healthy options. The pancakes were a hit with our grandchildren.

The breakfast was awesome! So many different things to choose from.

I didn't know that I had to ask to have my room cleaned. Usually it is done every day from my experience at other hotels

Indoor outdoor hot tub Suite Clean

Too close to front desk Neighbors were noisy at times Waterpark closes so early on a weekend. Wanted to use hot tub longer. Mattresses were a bit too soft and made noise with movement.

Brought our granddaughter’s for 3 nights & they loved it. Great location & nice staff. They loved the pancake machine! Great breakfast choices.

We had a king room, it was on the 3rd floor. Very quiet on a Wednesday night. Bed was comfortable, pillows were comfortable, room was clean. We did not use the water park, we were there to ride the Paul Bunyan Bike Trail, which was easy to ride to from the hotel.
