We were nine cyclists staying for one night as part of a longer trip. It was raining very heavily when we reached the hotel and we arrived before our check in time. The hotel was hosting a large lunchtime party, but staff were very understanding and extremely helpful, and gave us immediate access to our rooms in order that we could change and explore the village to find some late lunch. There were also secure places to leave our bikes. The rooms were individually furnished, were immaculately clean and we all spent a very comfortable night. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. The restaurant manager was extremely hospitable, friendly and great fun and the food and drinks were all delicious too. Breakfast in the morning was very good. It was well laid out in a large dining area. Looking back on our three week adventure, we all agreed that this was the best hotel we stayed in. Good value for money too.

Perfect location in town, it is a small place but very lively, the food is good and the service is friendly. We have also accommodated our bicycles inside for the night.

A little snag in our room we didn't have a fun and it was a bit hot being summer, we also had a sleepless night because of the mosquitos.. it could be better in a different season.

Our room was quite large, located in the attic of the restaurant. Nice, quiet neighbourhood. Local supermarkets located nearby.

A small fridge would have been nice.

Great vibe, like staying at an artsy friend’s home who is also a foodie. Quirky and comfy room, excellent quality food for breakfast and restaurant meals, and friendly staff. Wish I’d booked another night!

Nothing although our room needs dusting, especially under the bed.

location in Amerongen and the terras in front of the hotel/ restaurant are excellent. the owner runs the place with passion and a great deal of attention for customer service. the room was very spacious andcomfortable

after several very warm days in the country, the upstairs bedroom was still very warm and hard to ventilate (just a single small old style roof window).

Good location, nice restaurant , comfortable bed and super bathtub. Safe storage for bicycles.

Breakfast wasn’t as good as other hotels on our trip.

I stayed at the start and end of a weekend for the wedding of my son. The Hotel laid on a dinner for about 26 people and informal lunch for a similar number on different days for some of our guests pre and after the wedding days. Everything was most efficiently done and greatly enjoyed and appreciated by everyone. I would thoroughly recommend the Hotel.

Nice location in lovely village with a castle. Nice sitting out area with good food . Very nice staff
