I would have rated this property much better had they not scammed us. I booked one night for my 19 year old son and prepaid through booking.com. However, when he tried to check in they told him his booking wasn't legitimate. He was very confused, he had his booking confirmation but they would not let him check in. They said they only accepted cash and he didn't have enough so they actually drove him to an ATM. When I found out about this after the fact, I was livid that they would put him in this very uncomfortable, potentially unsafe, situation. They did not provide him with a receipt so I had him get one the next morning that showed how much he paid. I provided the proof to booking.com but the hotel lied and said my son never showed up so his booking shows as canceled by customer. Booking.com said they needed to look into it and it's been a week with no refund or explanation.
