Amazing! Super cute room for family of 5 with 3 single beds upstairs and double downstairs. Beautiful view of the ocean. I don’t know if we were lucky or perhaps it was just the season but we swam with turtles right from the private dock of the hotel every day, multiple times. At least 3 turtles were present all the time and could be seen just relaxing on the dock. Snorkeling was fab tons of fish of a large variety. The bed was large and very comfortable. The caipirinhas were on point, and I should know I’ve drank many! Hosts very smiley and helpful despite my terrible Portuguese. Super happy I booked here, stayed with my older parents and 3 teenage kids and we all loved it very much. Short walk to 2 beaches and the start of the hiking trail. Close to a large variety of restaurants. Can’t rate this highly enough and wished I’d stayed here last time I visited Ilha Grande

Beautiful location, we loved looking in the direction of Lagoa Verde. The pousada has a very relaxing feel Staff were very lovely and helpful Delicious breakfast with a view, we also thoroughly enjoyed lunch there Cleaning every 2 days

It is a bit dated so it has a bit of an unclean feeling, we spotted dead mosquitos/marks on the walls and the water in our shower didn’t drain very well - tip with the tap, it turns colder the more you turn!

Pousada Crouze is an amazing stay, a beautiful location hidden away from the main port and the mass tourism. Very much looked after by Sonia who have lived there for more than 1 1 years. The room was basic and simple but had all we needed, most of the time was spend on the veranda deck in the hammocks and exploring the island. Sonia made sure everything was perfect and that everyone was happy. Great breakfast and the chef, Fabio, did amazing dishes to share for 2 in the evening. Sonia even organised a boat day trip to remote beaches, helped me with arranging a scuba dive and even our transport back to the mainland again.

Room was quite warm, but was to be expected from a tropical island and a bit damp causing our clothes to smell a bit damp

Rose and George are wonderful hosts who made me and my friend very comfortable from the moment we arrived. They gave us loads of information on what we could do nearby, but also left us to it which was perfect as we came to relax on the beaches. The location is STUNNING, and really convenient to get a boat from Angra Dos Reis direct to the pousada, which was good for our wheelie suitcases! The nearest beach is a ten minute walk on sandy paths, so otherwise would have been difficult. I was able to rent a kayak for the day for £16, and there are loads of beautiful spots to see nearby within walking distance, while the area stayed nice and quiet (visiting in August). We were able to wash some clothes at the pousada, and our room was kept nice and clean every day.

The location is perfect if you’re looking for some place to relax. The staff was amazing and even though we had a language barrier (they don’t speak English, we don’t speak Portuguese) they made our stay really pleasant. The breakfast was really good and also the food they served in the restaurant! The common areas are super nice and big enough for all guests to find a nice spot to relax during the day. There are many options such as restaurants and mini markets in walking distance, and also the area around is very nice for a stroll. We rented a kayak for one day, which was round about 50€ but at the end totally worth it as it’s easy to even go far. If you’re okay with a simple standard regarding the rooms it’s a very good place to stay on the island.

We stayed in the basic room which was enough, but next time I would definitely upgrade to another, bigger option as there was not much space even though we only travelled with small luggage. There were no cloth hangers or laundry line - so no options to dry your clothes unfortunately. Compared to our other experiences in Brazil the food and acitivities are relatively expensive.

We had a lovely time here. The views are just incredible, very close to a small and secluded beach, a hidden gem. Rosi is super lovely and she speaks good Spanish. She helped us booking tours around the island, rent canoes and anything you need, she’s really friendly and helpful. The vibe here is just amazing, we we’re actually sad to leave the place. The whole community seems very nice with humble people.

Wifi can be slow, but that’s not an issue as long as you enjoy the nature :)

Fantastic location, Sonia and team were very nice and helpful. She organised a boat tour for us (good price!) which picked us up from the hotel's pier. The snorkelling off the pier is fantastic. Room was basic but it suited our needs.

The only downside was the mattress was very hard. Everything else was great!

Sonia and the rest of the team were wonderful! They were so helpful and kind and accommodating. The location is perfect! So peaceful and beautiful. We loved our stay and would definitely go back again!

Rosi was the loveliest host. She went above and beyond to help us! The location is also really beautiful and secluded, they have paddle boards and snorkeling available right there. You can easily walk to 2 beaches and if you like hiking you can hike to the green lagoon and other beaches. Also a fantastic breakfast.

Be aware that it is not very easy to access from Abraao, but perfect if you're coming from the mainland. Our room wasn't the best, a little damp and dark. However the views outside were incredible.
