The accommodation was comfortable and family-friendly. We were especially grateful for the playground, which kept our kids entertained for hours.

Breakfast was a significant letdown. The food selection was very limited and unappetizing. The buffet presentation lacked appeal, and the tablecloths appeared unclean. Additionally, the toasters were visibly unhygienic, discouraging their use. Overall, the breakfast did not justify its price. We would strongly recommend guests consider alternative breakfast options elsewhere.

We wanted to explore Bohemian/Saxonian Switzerland (Elbsandsteingebirge). Originally we intended to stay at Bad Schandau but found Hotel Devitka in only 13 km distance, close to the border. While there is a lot going on directly at the Elbe/Labe, Janov lies extremely calm on a plateau where you can see for miles and really relax. It’s a great place to explore the area, if you get there by car or are prepared to climb for 3 km by bike at the end of your ride. Hotel Devitka belongs to the golf course „Golf Janov“, so it‘s really at the end of the small village. The rooms are quite new, spacious and well equipped. There is a nice breakfast buffet and it’s possible to have dinner, basically Czech cuisine with little daily changes. Since the hotel is run by a small but very friendly staff there is little service possible during the day - dinner time starts at 6 pm. We enjoyed the food, beer and selection of wine very much. We stayed for 5 nights and would return any time.

Very nice, renovated and family friendly Hotel. We had an apartment with two rooms for 5 people. I would say especially, nice location to spend time also with smaller children, because there is a big playground infront of the hotel and also play corner on the groundfloor inside of the house. Near the hotel is Cafe, where you can order very delicious, homemade and also traditional food. Everything is very close. Hiking trail is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Location was really nice and the staff was very friendly.

The cleaning could've been better.. What was also a bit of a bummer for us was the late check-in time and the lack of possibility to drop off your stuff beforehand. Because of this, we had to hike all day with our full backpacks..

Amazing huge size of the room, the bathroom and the balcony. The AC was working well and very quiet during the night. Decent breakfast with coffee/tea, juices, different types of bread, cold cuts, boiled eggs and veggies.

We were not aware that the village and the hotel is basically on a steep hill, so cycling up here was a bit of a challenge.

The room was big with big balcony. Good breakfast. Very nice staff! Parking was up front the building. In the building was available space for kids with some toys and also outside was a big playground. I truly recommend this place for families with kids!

We loved it! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! Wi-Fi and TV worked well. Our kids really enjoyed the playground outside and little indoor play area with Fußball Kicker table and other little toys. The breakfast was good and the restaurant served delicious dinner. And on top of that the cozy terrace with the spectacular view! Will recommend this place to our friends!

It was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable and had an amazing view of the mountains. The room was also surprisingly large and it was lovely and quiet. I thought the free breakfast was a lovely touch and extremely generous. The hotel has many great facilities and I can see how it’s extremely family friendly with what it has on offer. I’d definitely recommend and stay again.

Beautifully cool room on a very hot day. Clean, spacious with a big balcony overlooking the golf course with the mountains in the distance. The staff were great and very helpful despite the language barrier. Both evening meals and the breakfast buffet were really good. Hrensko is 5 minutes by car down the road. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay.

Everything about this hotel - location, staff, breakfast, room itself, bathroom, wifi, recreation room were perfect. 10 stars for this!

There was no drinking water provided. It would be great if a water bottle, some tea bags and such, or at least a small water boiler was present in the room. Everything in the village was closed (off season) and there was no way of getting any water anywhere. A small minus for this.
