It was great that we could check in at 2 pm. The owners are driven, experienced, artistic, humorous and friendly. The room is very cozy, fully equipped and clean. The shower has hot water. The towels and bed linen are clean. The breakfast was stylish and delicious.

Vryheid is a run-down village. There is nothing to do. We missed the beautifully maintained houses and atmospheric good restaurants such as in Graaff-Reinet. We did not feel safe everywhere, not even on the grounds of Bella's B&B and in the room, which, unlike the owners' home, does not have any bars. The gate near the pothole street was broken and was open all day until nightfall. The pool was covered in insects and the water was quite cold so we didn't swim. We missed sockets on either side of the narrow double bed. The WiFi connection does not work well in the sleeping area of ​​the apartment.

Everything, from the friendly welcome to the super clean and spacious apartment to the lovely breakfast. The hosts Brian and Shane were so friendly and helped us decide where to go for an evening meal. Would definitely recommend Bella’s.

There was nothing not to like. I did notice that someone had put a bad review about flys in the pool. Hell, what on earth is that all about!!!! The pool was cleaned twice on our 1 night stay!!

Bella's is exceptional. Brian was an amazing host. Extremely welcoming and very warm with a friendly and accommodating nature. BEAUTIFUL cottage! We slept so well. When we thought it couldn't get any better, in the morning we were met with a 5 star breakfast, fit for kings. I doubt you'll find a better place in all of Vryheid!

There's nothing not to like.

Lovely little cozy cottage which was beautifully decorated and clean and neat. We had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely breakfast and wonderful host.

Additional lightning at the dressing table as it is a bit dark for doing make-up and hair - might just be my personal experience as I am in my 40's and the eyesight is not working so well anymore!!

Good, healthy hospitality. As they say in European countries. "Gemoetlikheid" really good value for money, and actually is what was adverstised. Thats often not the case. Brian , went out of his way to help me sort out stuff about the town which made my life much easier. Thanx Brian

Limited good channels on TV

The place was AMAZING. The owners went above the norm to make sure we were catered for, even extending our check out hours 😁 The cottage itself was beautiful, spacious, gorgeously furnished with a stunning kitchen. It truly exceeded my expectations. I would definitely go back to enjoy the space for a longer period.

The cottage is very spacious and clean. Breakfast was nice. The host is also hospitable.

We couldn't enjoy breakfast by the pool due to rainy and freezing weather conditions but enjoyed it in our cottage nonetheless.

Brian and Shane are the perfect hosts! The accommodation is luxurious and very affordable, and this is the perfect stay for a tired traveler! I had a good dinner, warm shower and cozy bed and Capuchino's to my hearts delight. Slept like a baby and woke up refreshed and ready for another day on the road. You leave Bella's B&B as a friend to the hosts. I will in future always stay at this B&B when traveling to Vryheid.

The cottage was beautifully decorated. The owners thought of everything, there was fresh milk in the fridge, water and the breakfast was delicious. Although we came in a warm month, the facilities for winter were obvious with electric blanket and towel warmers.

The place was very clean, neat and spacious. It was the cheapest B&B among the options that were there when I was booking so based on that price, I was expecting a small, tired old room with ancient furniture in a dodgy part of town but when I got there I was pleasantly surprised by how modern it looked and how nice everything was. The host was friendly as well.

Perhaps they should consider getting a bigger sign so that the B&B is easier to see even at night.
