Well appointed rooms set around a courtyard. We stayed in a former stable block. Excellent breakfast with home made jams and much more choice than a usual Italian breakfast. Enrico gave us lots of recommendations for visiting the local area and restaurants which helped us make the most of our time in Ragusa. Free parking on site.

Not a dislike - but you have to be prepared to drive a little way to get to local restaurant for dinner.

The lady of this apartment was very sweet. She suggested places for us where we can visit to dine and showed around the village (for me it looked like a small village there) the place was so amazing. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Location was a bit far up but that is what makes it peaceful as it was in the countryside. Breakfast so delicious , simple but amazing. The lady made homemade jams herself (we ended up buying so bottles for us) the prickly pear one so delicious. Love this place and will surely visit again.

The wonderful breakfast buffet, good mattrasses, welcoming staff and cute village-type (borgo) charm with big pool, a 15min drive to Ragusa centre (7km).

The standard triple room (Mimosa) photos do show it is split-level, just know that the ceiling is quite low: we bumped our heads a few times on the beams. The a/c unit's lights blink brightly throughout the night and the loud fridge could affect sensitive sleepers only (or turn down the fridge temp.) The room is very cosy nevertheless!

If you are coming from direction Ragusa with Google maps it is a problem to find the property. Google maps tells you to take a a secluded road in the middle of nowhere that you can't go through. The owners know about the problem and they are trying to fix this issue with Google. VERY IMPORTANT to ask owners to provide you with the directions because it is not easy to find. I had to meet up with the owners and drive behind.

This place was ideal for us for a two nights stay while discovering the surrounding area with a car. Not too far from Ragusa and Modica. Tho it's close to the highway, it was very calm place. Ideal for families too, it could easily host a couple plus two little kids. Very tidy, thoroughly cleaned wide rooms and an extra comfy beds. Wonderful breakfast too! Can't recommend enough, we'd glad to be back.

It is a beautiful and quite big property. The room we booked is quite big and spacious. Really liked it. The breakfast was quite a good variety of foods and they were quite delicious. The staff is super polite and nice! Cute cat welcoming us as well.

Unfortunately the swimming pool was a bit dirty but I do understand it is outside of season. Getting to the property initially can be a bit intimidating.

Everything was super. We stayed in the Junior Suite which was perfect. We had a warm welcome on arrival by Antionetta. The room was tastfully funished and spotlesly clean. A choice of very comfortable beds and a lovely shower. The Borgo Monachella is in a Pretty and tranquil location and view of farm lands. It was all rounded off with a superb breakfast all made by the graious Antionetta. Do yourself a favour and visit soon!

Very nicely restored farmhouse, very kind and helpful hosts. The included breakfast was wonderful, clean rooms and a nice pool, which unfortunately we couldn’t try, because we spent only one night here and after 7pm you are not allowed to use it.

We liked everything. Just a heads up, it’s not super close to the old town of Ragusa, but it didn’t bother us, as we had a motorbike.

The hosts were very kind and helpful, and gave us very good recommendations. The breakfast was delicious. And in general it's very nice, quiet and well organised place

Wifi in the room is something to improve (important because our mobile network was not very good)

The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety. Enrico and his family were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back.
