We stayed in the newly refurbished junior suite which was wonderfully spacious, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It had a very spacious sunny terrace with wonderful views over the hills The pool and surrounding garden was a welcome oasis after a day sight seeing or walking round the town. It is so rare to find a place with a pool in such a central location and it really made our stay more relaxing. There is a bit of a steep narrow climb to access the hotel by car and there is no formal parking but we had no issues parking our car on the street opposite -once we got there.

The only slight grievance was that the last couple of days of our stay the pool area was overrun with a few young children so it was not as peaceful as when we first arrived.. It might be better suited to being an adult only destination to maintain its tranquil vibes.

Our stay at Giardino Sul Duomo was simply unforgettable. Perfectly located just steps away from the stunning Duomo di San Giorgio, the property offers one of the best panoramic views in Ragusa. Watching the sun set over Ragusa Superiore from the serene garden and pool area was a daily highlight, truly a magical experience. We stayed in a beautiful room with a terrace overlooking the lush garden, offering uninterrupted views of the city. It was peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to unwind. The hosts were exceptionally warm and helpful throughout our stay, always ready with tips on exploring the area and quick to help with booking taxis or making local arrangements. Their genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was another standout, everything freshly made, delicious, and beautifully presented. You can really see the care and dedication they put into making every detail of your stay excellent. Giardino Sul Duomo is a gem in Ragusa Ibla and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend this accommodation enough! The location is perfect, right in the center yet still wonderfully quaint and peaceful. Could not have asked for better rooms and the cleanliness was impeccable. The views of the city and the Duomo were absolutely stunning. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and the service and amenities were excellent throughout our stay. The pool area was beautifully maintained, and Michele and Nicolò along with the rest of the staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests, making it a truly relaxing weekend.

It’s in a great central position, the room was spacious and had a nice outlook from the balcony. The garden and swimming pool were lovely and Michele and his team were excellent. They were very accommodating to any request and our transfer together with the advice Michele provided were excellent and invaluable.

A suggestion re the breakfast - we liked everything but maybe a greater selection of fruit, larger cereal bowls and perhaps a little more choice on the savoury items. Scrambled eggs were superb however!

Location was fantastic, within 5 minutes walk from everything you would want to explore in Ragusa Ibla. We rented a car and it was also not far from a number of other towns to visit. Breakfast was very nice, freshly squeezed orange juice to order, cereal, fruits, pastries etc. The view over Ragusa was stunning from the quaint hotel garden that was perfect for lounging and reading. The staff were fantastic, Michele was friendly, on hand to help, and had great recommendations for places to explore.

What a perfect location in Ragusa Ibla! The owner, Michele, and Niccolo were fabulous hosts. We stayed in the room with attached deck that provided an incredible view of new Ragusa. Outside stairs lead up to a rooftop deck which provides sweeping views of the area including the Duomo. The property has an outside pool and lots of orange and lemon trees. Michele provided perfect driving directions to help us wind our way to the B&B and met us outside to help us with parking. The room was good-sized with views of new Ragusa through the windows. Breakfast included fresh squeezed orange juice and pastries. There was a new cake each morning, baked by Michele's sister. We signed up for a cooking lesson with Michele and had an enjoyable time making Sciacca Ragusana, a Sicilian specialty. The experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. The B&B is perfectly located to walk through Ragusa Ibla and new Ragusa. You won't regret staying with Michele.

The hotel is small but very well equipped with a small swimming pool and garden with amazing views to the west over Ragusa Superiore. Rooms are functional and comfortable, and very clean. The staff are very friendly and gives you good advice on what to visit if needed. Pay attention to their indication on how to drive up to the hotel to avoid ZTL and especially the narrowest streets. Ask also how it's the way out because it's slightly different. Also ask where to park. The location is ideal if you don't mind the driving in narrow streets (very manageable), because it's a few minutes away from il Duomo di San Giorgio and the Centro storico di Ragusa Ibla. Very charming city, full of bars abd restaurants, a few Michelin starred ones, bib gourmands and recommended ones. It's not far from Modica, Scicli, Palazzolo Acreide, etc which are also worth visiting to admire the tardo barroco. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay at Giardino Sul Duomo was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the location could not have been better to explore Ragusa. But the best was the incredibly help we got from the management of the hotel. We had an issue with our rental car and he helped us tremendously in sorting out a replacement, helping us to communicate to the rental car agency and manage logistics. It would have been a difficult issue to resolve without his help. We loved our stay and were so appreciative of the help we received!

The main hotel area has stunning gardens and a fabulous pool. The rooms are clean and minimalist but still with wonderful character. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom family room was lovely though not a huge amount of airflow. The breakfast, included in our stay, was delicious and mostly made in-house so very fresh. The bathrooms were very spacious with good water pressure in the showers. Fabulous location for exploring Ibla eith the option of getting away from it all in the garden or pool, overlooking the mountains.

The family room was just outside of the main hotel complex, down some outdoor stairs. The stairs were fine (you don't go to Ragusa if you can't do stairs) but this was a bit painful when we had to bring our suitcases up on checkout. The staff are very helpful though so you can always ask for assistance.

Everything about this hotel was superlative. Fantastic, large rooms: ours had a private deck overlooking the valley and the hotel swimming pool, as well as a double jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Spotless hotel. A five minute walk down to the Piazza del Duomo and farther on, to a lovely public garden with views. Many restaurants close by. Pleasant breakfast with home-baked goods, eggs on request, juices, fruits and excellent coffee. Charming town. Our two-night stay was flawless, thanks to our host, Michele.
