Ibla resort is perfectly located at the entrance of lower Ragusa Ibla. After dropping off our luggage, we could easily park at the nearby free parking spaces. Our family of three had our own smartly designed two-floor tiny place with private access. Beds were great, shower too. From the hotel, you directly access the (primarily) pedestrian area into this beautiful old town with its (30) churches. Visiting Ragusa in winter means you have the town for yourself, and the few bars and restaurants that are open are the ones frequented by the residents because of their quality food at moderate prices. A generous (complimentary) breakfast the next morning completed our wonderful stay at Ibla resort.

Superb location at the beginning of Ibla. Quiet and comfy rooms with good amenities. Staff were great, breakfast was fresh and nice, and it's picturesque to be eating it on the terrace in the morning. While not essential for our stay - I like the fact there are mosquito screen blinds on both the window and balcony door. Paid public parking is nearby, so is only a short walk away.

I appreciate the attempt at modernity with USB outlets on either side of the bed, but it'd be great to also have standard power sockets too. The only noticeable power socket in the room was behind the coffee machine on the other side of the room.

We enjoyed our stay, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, very modern. The staff are very helpful and always available. Breakfasts provide plenty of options catering for all tastes. There is a beautiful garden belonging to the hotel which we discovered on the last day, located a short walk away. This is a bit of a hidden gem and provides a lovely tranquil space, with hammocks, deck chairs and tables to enjoy a drink in the sunshine. The main hotel is well located just at the start of the old town and there are plenty of good restaurants within a 10-minute walking distance.

We originally booked into the Guest House which is described as just 300 metres from the main hotel. However, we hadn’t appreciated it’s also up a steep slope making access to the main hotel and the old town, a bit of a two-way hike. We asked to move, and the staff were very accommodating in finding us a room in the main hotel.

Our hosts were very helpful! They arranged a taxi for when we left and helped me to buy bus tickets when I was having trouble doing it on the phone. Our hosts had quite good English, which helped us a lot. Their breakfast had a good choice and they even gave us brekkie in boxes when we had to leave early. Our room was wonderful. Plenty of room.

My only tip is that if you are arriving to Ragusa by train, it is much easier to order a taxi to meet the train. We tried to walk there and that was very impractical.

The hotel is in a perfect location to visit Ragusa Ibla without having to navigate its narrow streets in a car. There is a large car park just below the hotel, and if you are lucky enough to find an available space outlined in white, parking is free. There is also an adjacent paid lot. It was easy to carry our bags up a flight of stars to the street above, then walk a very short didtance to the hotel. Our rooms were large, clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good sleep. They were on a busy corner, but with the windows closed, we could hardly hear any noise, and I am picky about that. Air conditioning worked very well, shower and bathroom were great. The main hotel building has a roof terrace with great views. Breakfast was varied, with high-quality fresh products. Staff were kind.

There was nothing significant to dislike. There was a rather thick, inflexible mattress cover on the bed that was slightly uncomfortable, but all in all, it was a very minor detail.

We did a 10 night, 10 city tour of sicily. Iblaresort was our favourite stay, it is in a great location for walking distance to all the sites. We booked a junior suite which had a balcony overlooking the church and square it was so stylish and characterful. The owner is the most obliging, fiendly and lovely guy and hardest working chap in Italy. His recomendations for sightseeing, shopping restaurants etc were so helpful. I cannot undestand why only 3 star as this was better than the other 4 and 5 star hotels that we stayed in. We will visit again and wholly recommend this fab boutique hotel you cannot fail to be impressed and definitely the best value!

Fabulous location, beautiful boutique hotel with luxurious bedding. Lovely room with a view of the surrounding mountains. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful which we had on the rooftop terrace in the morning sunshine.

We gave it a 9 for facilities because we couldn’t get the coffee machine to work and the hairdryer was a cheap one attached to the wall.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Everyone on the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was unique with a sitting room and bathroom on the ground level and the bed upstairs in a loft area. The breakfast was outstanding and included custom omlettes and fresh canoli! The hotel is located in the historic center of lower Ragusa and walkable everywhere

Everything was excellent. Our particular room might not work for everyone since the bed is upstairs in loft. However, there are other rooms that I believe are traditional bedrooms

This hotel is in a fabulous location. I am still dreaming about that beautiful view of Ragusa Ibla at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than I expected considering it's in a tiny space. It was the first place in our 3 week trip in Sicily to offer made-to-order omelettes.

Getting to the hotel is a bit tricky. What throws you off is what looks like a "no entry" sign so you turn to the right and off you go for a few more kilometers before you get back to the same place. GPS nailed it. My advice is follow GPS and when it says you've arrived, stop and temporarily park. The hotel is just 30 feet from there.

We had the apartment, which is in between the old and new town, perfect! Beautiful interior will everything you need. Possibility to park in front, no restricted area for cars, beautiful view. Very helpful staff which helped us check in. Best shower we had so far in Sicily!

If we would be really picky :-) The road is busy so if you’re sensitive about noise, that could be annoying. And the breakfast is limited but more than enough.
