We loved the cave like accommodation, the bedroom & bathroom were spacious which made it very comfortable. The view was gorgeous. Amelia was a wonderful host and left extra goodies in our room for us to enjoy. Amelia gave us directions and advice on how to find good restaurants. Lovely old town position. It is a shared kitchen with 2 other rooms, this wasn’t a problem.

To reach our room was 2 floors down on a narrow staircase but there was an easier way to get in and out outside. Wouldn’t be a problem for the young.

The location was magnificent! Just sitting on the balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains and the cathedral of ibla. Grab your coffee or breakfast and enjoy this beautiful view. Its a small town but do not skip this place as there is no other place like this in sicily. Giovanni is a very nice host and tells you everything you want to know about the town or even sicily! Easy to park next to the road and only 10 min walk from the cathedral. This old town feels like a medieval castle, so beautiful!

Simple, but cozy acommodation 10 minute easy walk from the centre of Ragusa, probably one of the most charming hilltop cities in Sicily. The owner was really kind and provided us with tons of useful advice, the breakfast was good enough to start the day and the view from the balcony was hard to beat. Would gladly book again!

Finding an available parking place on a street can be a bit tricky, but on the pro side, it's free :-)

Very comfortable, very clean. The owner, Amalia, was super nice and responsive. There is parking right out the front of the building. The view from the balcony is across the valley and from the side you can see Ragusa Ibla. The accomodation is ideally located halfway up the hill in between so it is easy to walk to both sides of Ragusa.

I can honestly say that this is the best place we have ever stayed. Amalia was very welcoming and a delightful lady. Her English is impeccable. She gave us lots of good tips about which restaurants to go to. Our rooms were just beautiful with amazing views of Old Ragusa. It was such a shame we couldn't have stayed longer. One of the restaurants that was recommended was Ristorante ll Barocco. I had some of the best pasta I've ever tasted there and across the road is a very unassuming bar which served craft beer - just brilliant! We met so many lovely, friendly people who worked in the restaurants and bars there. They really made us feel very welcome. We will most definitely stay for longer next time and will make sure we stay at Ibla Barocca. It was amazing, thank you Amalia 😊

There really isn't anything we didn't like. However, the very narrow, steep roads are not for the faint-hearted. And if you have mobility issues, the walks around the town are steep and sometimes with lots of steps, so may be a problem. There are a lot of very steep steps at this property. Otherwise, I can't wait until we return to Old Ragusa and Ibla Barocca ❤️

Beautifully decorated place with personal touch. Landlord is great communicator and involved with the property which can be seen as well taken care off. Kind of a idyllic location with balcony to enjoy the view. Highly recommended. Gabriel Canada.

Beautiful cave style room, great location at walking distance to the center of the old town

Breakfast was mainly supermarket food rather than fresh bread/pastries

The location is fabulous. The room was excellent & very clean snd a wonderful breakfast provision was included

The accommodation is modern, clean and spacious enough for a family. It's within walking distance of the main attractions of the charming Ragusa Ibla, and there are also places to eat close by. Parking is available right next to the front door. The host Giovanni and his mum were also excellent and very helpful.
