Fantastic location in the heart of the historic part of Ragusa with easy access to Ragusa Ibla Rooms full of character and breakfast was great with new dishes being provided each day Concetta our host was amazing and provided excellent advise regarding locations to visit and restaurants to enjoy

Please consider parking, we were kindly provided with a special card which enabled us to park locally but places were rare! We ended by using the large car park at the bottom of 320 stairs but the walk back up was hard!

Concetta, the owner, is extremely kind, accommodating, and thoughtful. We wanted to get dressed up for dinner and she had our clothes ironed for the evening! Breakfast each morning is in the home down the street she grew up in - inside if it’s raining and outside in the garden if it’s not. The spread included Ragusa cheeses and a typical Sicilian breakfast with beautiful linens, coffee, orange juice, water, almond milk, etc. I loved the experience! She found us a parking spot and gave us a permit parking pass to use during our stay.

The top room was a little small but it didn’t matter since we were mostly out of the room exploring!

The breakfast was so fresh and in an amazing place about two minutes walk from my room in a splendid garden. It was all freshly made a great choice of food on offer. Concetta was so attentive and wanted everything to be perfect, which it was. The room I was in was very very nice, a cave like environment with plenty of room and a beautiful environment, plus and added bonus of a direct entry from the street, which was perfect to bring all my luggage into from about two metres from where I parked.

If I were to be picky the wifi wasn't the best but it didn't matter to me me as I had data.

We had a wonderful stay in this place. Concetta, the host, was really carrying and helpful when providing us with her recommendations. We could park our car close to the Locanda safe & free of charge. The highlight was definitely the breakfast at her place with a huge variety of everything we could ask for. Definitely a great choice to stay in Ragusa and a lovely Italian lady.

We've had a truly exceptional stay at Locanda La Meridiana in Ragusa, Sicily. Our host, Concetta, was the epitome of kindness and hospitality. Despite our late arrival at 00:30 due to flight delays, Concetta warmly welcomed us with open arms, ensuring our first impressions of Sicily were nothing short of welcoming. The following morning, she invited us to her captivating home for breakfast, which felt like stepping into a lush jungle, surrounded by an array of plants and serene decor. While having a cup of coffee, Concetta provided us with recommendations for local sights which helped us discover some hidden gems we would have otherwise missed! I would recommend this charming place 100% to anyone looking for a genuine and heartwarming Sicilian experience. Thank you, Concetta, for making our stay so memorable!

Nothing. Everything was amazing.

The location was excellent. My husband is tall so a huge plus for us was that the bed was big and comfortable, situated in a charming large room. The host Concetta was a delight and very attentive always asking if we had everything we needed. She also gave great tips on restaurants and trips. Breakfast was great; amazing homemade cakes, pastries, ham and cheese and fruit.

We didn’t dislike anything. Everything was charming.

Wonderful stay and delightful experience with homemade breakfast hosted by the owner in her beautiful home. Would highly recommend. Perfect location to walk to old town. Also received excellent recommendation for dinner with reservation kindly made for us, when we arrived in the evening. Grazie mille.

Ideal inexpensive accommodation for one night. Easy to walk to from the in our case the railway station. We were given plenty of information by the very hospitable owner both on the telephone and in person as trying to work out the essential local buses was a must for us. She provided a nice breakfast around the corner in her house. It was all rather charming.

Very convenient, good bed, excellent water pressure. Everything you need, even a fridge in the room. You get a license so you can park your car outside in the residential parking space. Signora Concetta is a wonderful host, she really makes you feel welcome. Very good breakfast with homemade marmalade and jams.

Rooms are quite small, stairs are very steep, so don’t come with bulky luggage

Concetta is such a kind and sweet host! She prepared an absolutely amazing breakfast with lots of homemade delicacies—it was a real treat. Thanks to her help, parking was no problem at all, and her restaurant recommendation was great. Ragusa is a beautiful town, and we would love to come back. When we do, we will definitely stay with Concetta again. Highly recommended!
