We liked everything !! Nanni was the most welcoming host who paccified 2 hot and grumpy travellers . He helped with the parking, heavy suitcases and as we arrived around lunch time he brought delicious savory tart and cheeses. The view over the Ibla was breathtaking with colours changing from dawn to sunset accompanied by tolling church bells.Nanni also booked us a table for dinner at a nearby restaurant with excellent food. The rooms were lovely and ours had a door to the terrace with a beautiful view and where breakfast was served. Breakfast was ample with fresh fruit, breads , cakes , cheese and good coffee. Thank you Nanni for a wonderful stay.

The following is not meant to be negative towards our B&B Terre del Sole Ibla. I will most definitely stay there again. It is just to help travellers make the right decision. The Ibla is a very hilly part of town (but also the most picturesque)You have to go down and up lots of stairs to get to the restaurants and sights. This wil not be suitable for disabled travellers or old or inactive people. We are 73 and 78 and handled it quite well !

Wow! Simply wow! A B&B with the kind of attention to detail you'd find in a five-star botique hotel. One of the best stays we've ever had anywhere, full stop. The room was immaculate and the bed amazingly comfortable. Bottled water was replenished in the fridge every day, and breakfast-- on a balcony overlooking the town-- was just incredible. Our host helped us with our luggage (we were traveling for two weeks and had missed that our room was up a narrow flight of stairs), with directions and travel tips, and even with directing this parallel-parking-incompent into a parking spot. We had to leave before breakfast on our final day, so our host sent us off with a bag of fresh (and really amazing) croissants. The location was perfect for seeing the area, and our host helped us with the itinerary. But we'd stay here again even if there were nothing to see. We've been fortunate to stay in a number of wonderful spots, thanks to the reviews of the community, but there are just a handful of places that I'd go back to and stay even if the hotel were in the middle of the north pole. This is one such place. Really, really special.

- My room had the most beautiful view of Ragusa Ibla and the balcony was gorgeous to sit out on and take it all in. - Breakfast was very thoughtfully prepared by the owner, with a variety of delicious Sicilian delights. Served on the terrace overlooking the beautiful view. - large rooms and large shower - good air conditioning in room - secret passageway from hotel to stairs leading into the town was super cute

- this isn’t specific to the hotel but just know that you cannot go to Ragusa without walking up and down many steps! Worth it though because it’s a beautiful part of the world!

This B&B has great charm and appeal because of its combination of fantastic location and very friendly and helpful staff. Perched on the side of the hill coming down from Ragusa town towards Ibla the views from the rooms and the extensive sun terrace out towards Ibla is staggering. We were lucky to have the room featured on the website with its own lovely balcony and we could definitely have stayed for longer than our 2 nights. Provided you are fairly fit the walk down ( and then up) into Ibla is not a long one and there is a real magic to the old town. Parking just down the hill from the property ( free) was surprisingly easy in May but I can imagine it would be more challenging in high season but you can stop outside the property to drop off and pick up luggage. The staff are fantastic and helped us out of an unexpected problem. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful ( the enormous ricotta filled pastries almost too plentiful!). Our room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was adequate rather than luxurious . The view though trumps it all!

Nanni, our host was so welcoming and attentive. We arrived earlier than expected and he helped us find parking and allowed us to check in early, He was so helpful with local information regarding where to visit and dinner recommendations. Our room had a magnificent view with a balcony as did the breakfast terrace. A very comfortable bed and the shower was brilliant. Everything about this place is perfect. Cannot fault anything. It's definitely one of the best accommodations we have stayed in Italy. Highly recommend. Nanni even surprised us with a bottle of wine for our wedding anniversary. Thank you so much for making our stay in Ragusa Ibla so memorable.

Don't hesitate, just book this place. We loved it. Breakfast on the terrace was the best morning of our holiday. The pastries were delicious but there are healthy options too and great coffee. The view from our room (and from the terrace) was stunning. Great communication from Nanni who met us on arrival and helped us to find a parking space. Parking is on the road but we had no concerns about leaving our car there. The location is great as the first evening we walked to Ragusa Superiore (just head for Santa Maria delle Scale) and walk up lots of steps! The next day we explored Ragusa Ibla. We could have visited Ragusa on a day trip but to experience the town a 2 night stay was perfect and we would highly recommend Terra del Sole. The secret door from the terrace gives quicker access to Ragusa Ibla than it looks on the map. Coffee machine, kettle and fridge in room. Lovely shower gel etc. Great room, extremely comfy bed and quiet at night.

Nothing to dislike

Terra del sole Ibla B&B is within the crown of Ragusa. It is an amazing place to stay, has stunning views and is run by a thoroughly delightful host in Nani (who was fantastic with communications both before and during our stay and has a very amusing sense of humour!) The accommodation is in a great location- about 15 minute walk into the centre of Ragusa Ibla, which has lots of steps everywhere to negotiate (so not the best for anyone with mobility issues). But it is a real treat to stay here, as the accommodation has magnificent views of Ragusa Ibla, from either your private balcony or the large common breakfast terrace (this view is comparable to some of the views at the popular panoramic spots around town!). The room we had (Room 1) was large, modern and amazingly clean, with a spacious bathroom and great water pressure. The room had a large double and a single bed, with plenty of pillows and amenities were supplied (slippers, shampoo, body lotion, amenity kits etc). There was a small tabletop fridge (minibar) and an expresso coffee machine. Nani also has a small selection of local wine & soft drinks for purchase, which can be provided with glasses for you to enjoy on the terrace. A wonderful breakfast is served on the terrace each morning, including brioche, ricotta and pistachio filled croissants, fresh fruit, pomegranate juice, cereal, jams, several types of Sicilian savoury baked delights and good coffee. Overall we had a great stay at Terra del sole Ibla, which was incredible value for money and a wonderful experience.

Single bed was a bit firm.

This place is all about the view … wow wow wow. BUT we also experienced extreme kindness from Nanni, the owner. Before we arrived our car got bogged in the middle of nowhere. We don’t speak Italian and the only place we could think to call was the property as we had no idea how to access a tow truck. nanni very kindly agreed he would help us. We ended up hiking to find a neighbour near the car (with a tractor!) and Nanni helped us translate on the phone. He then waited until late at the property until we got there to ensure we got in ok. I would return for the views alone and the great breakfast but over and above for Nanni’s kindness.

We loved everything about this beautiful property. We could not fault Nanni’s service, he was very helpful and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The view from our room with a large balcony was exceptional, overlooking a stunning valley and the town of Ragusa Ibla. A perfect room to have some time out, if needed. The location was ideal for walking into Ragusa Ibla, the room was large, clean, beautifully styled and so comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace with a view was delicious and huge. We would highly recommend this property.

I could not fault this B&B.

Breakfast was on the terrace overlooking Ragusa Ibla and it was was fabulous! Local products of ricotta and pistachio croissants and savoury flatbreads and fruit were delicious. The room had the original roof and walls but it had all modern conveniences. Beautiful bathroom too with a large shower with plenty of hot water. It was quite a long walk down to the centre of Ragusa Ibla but you can visit little churches and views on the way which was lovely. The centre of Ragusa had plenty of sights to see, the duomo being the highlight.
