We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Clementina in Scafati. From the moment we arrived, Antonio, his family, and the entire staff made us feel more than welcome – they truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and personal, which really added to the experience. One of the highlights of the property is definitely the swimming pool – a perfect spot to relax and cool off after a day of exploring. Another standout was the restaurant, owned and run by Antonio, where the quality of the food was absolutely superb. Every meal felt authentic, fresh, and full of flavor – a real treat that we looked forward to each day. Overall, our stay was excellent, and we’re very grateful to Antonio and his family for their hospitality. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a welcoming, family-run hotel with great service, superb food, and a relaxing pool.

The only small downside is the location. The hotel is quite tucked away, so it’s really ideal if you have a car to get around. That said, it makes a great base for visiting Sorrento, Amalfi, Pompeii, Naples, and other nearby sights.

I travelled alone with my two children. We were collected and dropped off from the airport by Mario. Who was amazing throughout our stay, he and gave us lots of advice travelling around and making the most of our trip. All other staff were so friendly and helpful too. We were made to feel at home and relaxed. Our room was cleaned daily, fresh bedding and towels. The aircon in our room was perfect, with the weather of 35°each day. Breakfast was fresh and they accommodated my dairy free request perfectly. The pool and hotel garden is beautiful, my children loved every minute in the pool. We got around on public transport visiting Naples, Pompeii and vesuvius with ease. We also visited the hotel restaurant across the road, twice! The food is soo good and the staff so kind and fun. We will definitely visit again. Thank you everyone.

The room was fine for our one night stay. It had what you wanted. Breakfast simple but pleasant. The restaurant which was a couple of minutes walk was really good for food and value and service. Plenty of car parking a minute down the road in their own car park.

The sink area did not allow you to put out your toiletries, a very minor grumble. No pillows on bed but found them in cupboard.

The entire property was beautiful - I mainly saw it at night, but the pool and the courtyard were lovely to walk around, and the room itself had an old style feel but was very comfortable. I went through some back streets to reach the property, and was surprised how safe it felt.

The location is a bit out of the way, and was a fair bit of a walk (25min) from the nearest train station. There is a bus but I wasn't sure how to get a ticket. It would be easier to reach with a car or taxi. I went to Pompeii in the morning and worked out it would have been just as easy to come from Salerno as from Scafati.

Great small villa in very convenient location. Friendly staff especially Mario he was exceptional very friendly and make the best coffee ☕️

Not much variety for the breakfast, could do with some choices of bread, fruits 🍉 and veggies

Nice interior and garden, comfortable and clean rooms. We were late at check-in due to our flight delays but the owner of the hotel was very flexible and helpful.

Some of the staff members dealing with the breakfast wasn’t always kind.

The person on reception at the hotel when we arrived was exceptional. Nice breakfast.

Breakfast was a little under supplied but staff would provide requests when asked.

Mario on reception, an asset to the hotel, very helpful, and a lovely guy. Comfortable beds, powerful shower, beautiful views, a clean and well maintained pool and pool area, well kept and peaceful garden, and excellent cleanliness.

The location. A little remote, difficult to find using Apple Maps and booking.com location map. ‘What Three Words’ would be useful.

It was a nice room, comfortable.

Unfortunately, there was an event being hosted and we could not get service in the bar as everyone was busy. Also, the pool area is very tight so there is a lack of sun loungers. The garden was out of bounds due to the party.
