We went on extremely low season, the week before Easter. We were the only guests and we really enjoyed. The restaurant serving all farm-to-table food (meat, wine, olive oil) at a reasonable price was an unexpected treat! The proximity to hiking trails and other superb attractions was awesome.

Common spaces could have been better equipped, but maybe was just because we visited during low season.

The location is excellent: it is a farm in the countryside, very nice and quiet. We had a very comfortable suite, which was spacious, perfectly clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast was great, even with tasty cakes and fresh made smoothies. Also the restaurant had very good food and wines. Staff was nice and helpful and gave us lots of tipps and information, where to go and what to do. Hiking into the Maremma park is possible from there and it provides easy access to plenty of beautiful places nearby, but you definitely need a car.

Kitchenware: both knives cut poorly, wooden cutting board is a bit smelly, All frying pans are toxic to use since the teflon layer flaked off Sometimes the heater were turned off??

Very pretty location, good breakfast and the lady who served us breakfast was lovely!

Our room was spotless, but other parts of the property looked a bit run down. Worth mentioning we went mid week during low season so maybe that’s why.

In the countryside and very quiet with lots of stars. bedroom well renovated but a bit small with three persons. good selection of breakfast foods included. in the Maremma.

Reception area like a dusty storage area. Host not very personable. Couldn’t access beach due to limited shuttle trips per day and we only stayed one night. didn’t see any cattle or horses. less ranchy than I expected due to the photos on the site. no attempt to help us access the natural area around us like hiking trails or beaches.

Pictures from Booking.com is far from reality. We were located in separate building in the middle of nowhere, alone in whole building. Car parking 100 m from building in absolute dark. In autumn it is not very pleasant. The surroundings and territory are unkempt and gloomy. Breakfast also is not available.

The location

The room was very noisy. Absolutely no sound-proofing. For our second night there was no hot water. No apology from reception. Just that it just happened and they could not help it. Awkward breakfast: one plate and no good visibility of what was available. No more fresh eggs for scrambled eggs. Staff were ok but just poor management.
