- brakfast was ok but could definitely get better ;) - close by is very noisy bar, lound music and drunk kids yelling until late at night - guests did not follow the rules of the spa and staff did not do anything. There was a kid in the spa under allowed age with a father who was making phone calls loudly. So annoying I had to leave the spa.

i was surprised when I went to the hotel beach they asked me to pay to use the beach, I laughed I thought they are joking, but they are not, I traveled around the world and never paid for the beach hotel that I’m staying in.

My stay at Excelsior was simply lovely. The staff at the hotel were friendly, accommodating and professional. The room was the perfect size, the bed was super comfy and the view was spectacular. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices and offerings.

The only note on what I would change, would be to wash all linens and towels in unscented laundry soaps and products. I am very sensitive to synthetic and artificial scents. The towels and bedding were slightly irritating for me.

It was clean, cute design and was wildly convenient to the beach, cute restaurants and bike path. We left our car parked for most of our stay and walked everywhere. The beach and lido were perfection. The food was perfect for sandy, salty lunches and after a week, the staff felt like friends. It was honestly a week that felt restful and handled which was exactly what we wanted.

There was a slight hick-up with ac while we were there, but the GM was beyond accommodating and handled the situation with an endless amount of thought and grace. Just cementing how much we loved our stay.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We loved the beach decor and simple rooms with everything one needs. We called ahead and asked if the two rooms could be next to each other, which they happily did for us. We had one room with a partial sea view and lovely terrace and the second was a "city view" - but be warned that there is construction going on (which we were not told about) and so the view is in fact a construction site. The staff could not be friendlier, and the breakfast is really good! It is perfectly situated, close to the city center, right on the beach, with so many cafes and food choices around.

We were disappointed in the restaurant, and wouldn't recommend. It's expensive and the food was average. It would be great if the property had an outdoor pool. oh, and the construction ... although the hotel is very sound proof so the noise didn't disturb us.

Beautiful hotel and very clean/ well looked after. The room was perfect and we were given an upgrade to a room with a sea view which was incredible. The hotel staff were all really friendly and the hotel manager couldn’t be more helpful. The beach and facilities were amazing. We didn’t use the spa but looked very nice!

The food was quite average. We had a club sandwich at the beach restaurant on our first day at the beach. It was quite ghastly. The breakfast was ok but we’ve had a lot better quality in lesser hotels. I was surprised that you had to pay extra for anything meaningful i.e. anything with meat

This was a surprisingly great hotel. Room was new and clean. The views of the beach and sea from the balcony were great. The staff was excellent and helpful. The neighborhood was great for walking around and finding lunch and dinner and exploring the city. I travel a lot and was really impressed by this hotel.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach, immaculate service and friendly staff, glorious sea views from front facing rooms, lovely elevated spa and pool area, fantastic beach bar and beach. Great breakfasts.

Very little outside space other than the beach, city view rooms would be compromised due to extensive building work behind.

We loved just everything, the beach, the room, the staff and the hospitality, the cleanliness of the whole hotel. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant too.

Only one thing was off, the water pressure in the shower was low in anytime of the day but other than that it was a wonderful stay.

Everything. Nothing but the best. The rooms were great. The beach club was amazing. The beach itself was a great surprise. Do your self a favour and visit this town and in particular the Excelsior hotel.
