The location is perfect. The breakfast served was absolutely tasty and filling. Despite making an error in my booking (oops, clearly I needed this break from work) , Joyce was kind enough to readjust the booking I made and gave an equally amazing option. I honestly don't take it for granted to be hosted in such a nice villa that gives you a feel of another home away from home. Very close to the airport, I still can't believe we walked from there to the airport, seems unreal. My friend and I are happy to say we enjoyed our short stay at JoyVillas. I will definitely stay here again, next time I visit Malindi. Keep up the good job.

The host was welcoming and friendly, making our stay comfortable. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast they served each morning. The pool was well-maintained and a highlight of our trip, we loved swimming throughout our stay. Overall, a great experience!

Rich breakfast by the poolside! Who even takes 3proteins in one meal in this Kenyan economy? don't get me started on the cooking skills, Superb Generally, the host and her family, including the dog were very friendly!It's perfect for a homestay.

Beautiful quiet property just outside of the main town. The pool is a lovely place to hang out, and the rooms are spacious. Joyce runs the place fantastically well. Easy to get into town with either a 15-20min walk, or an abundance of motorbike taxis and tuk tuks available. Would stay here again!

The host was very nice and welcoming. The property is located close to the town, which made moving around town easy, the service was great, breakfast was delicious and served on time. I enjoyed the pool and the beautiful garden. It was so peaceful. I enjoyed my stay!

Nice view of the pool and baobab tree. The place was peaceful and quiet. The pool was nice and we got it to ourselves.

The room's fan was pretty slow so the room got hot, and we had to leave the windows open. Also, there was a creepy painting of a lady in our room... luckily we could take it down.

The facility may require a bit of an upgrade to bring it to a higher standard. The pool appeared not regularly cleaned however it was cleared on the day of arrival.

Clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, clean pool and nice garden, proximity to the airport, the dog Laika and the kid, Mike:) Serene atmosphere, a good place to chill out and relax.

Wifi was on and off, so I used my own mobile data. The water pressure was very weak, it would have taken a very long time for me to wash my thick and long hair, so I decided against it. However, overall a very good value for money! They allowed me to stay a few hours after checkout, since my flight was canceled and I had to book another one later. Recommended! :)
