The pool was the highlight of our stay! It had a lot of chairs, was nice temperature and you get big towels from the hotel. Note that the pool is closed between 1-3pm (open 9am-1pm and 3-7pm. The breakfast was great, with lots of options, huge buffet with breads, cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, cakes, pancakes, yoghurts and many sweet options. The hotel itself is slightly outdated but still very clean. We slept on the 12th floor and had an amazing view over Etna, especially during sunrise! There are around 15-20 parking places at the hotel, we always got a spot but there’s a big parking space down the road from the hotel so parking should not be an issue.

The big downside of the hotel is the location with regards to Caltagirone. We hoped it would be possible to get there with public transport but there are no options at all. Taxis cost 10eur per ride (one way) so might be an option if you’re with more people. We ended up always going by car which meant one person could not drink. We also had dinner twice in the part of the center close to the hotel, which was fine, but not as nice as Caltagirone:)

Amazing location, only 20 minutes from the old historic town with local super markets; restaurants and other amenities even closer by. The room we had provided just the most perfect view of the old town and valley from our window. The Air Conditioning was up to date and work brilliantly. The staff always smile as you pass and we're always patient and happy to help my girlfriend and I who don't speak Italian. The pool is deep, cool, and perfect for relaxing beside.

Great view even if it meant we needed to take a shuttle to the old city. Room was big. Staff was very nice! We liked the pool was open for us and the bar was open. They were able to arrange a shuttle downtown and back which we loved.

Beds a little uncomfortable for us but not a deal breaker. Didn't like being so far away from the city center but we should have paid better attention when booking.

Found the elevator a little small. One member of our family was in a wheelchair and found getting the chair into the lift awkward.

Good value hotel with great breakfast, parking and a swimming pool. The hotel organised a taxi for us to the top of the steps in Old Caltagirone (cost €15 for the 6 of us)

The hotel itself is slightly faded, but the rooms were large and comfortable with a very good sized private terrace

Clean, comfortable room with a balcony and fantastic view of the countryside. The staff was very polite and helpful. The pool looked inviting but the weather was cool so we did not try to swim. It was a very quiet atmosphere and hotel did not seem to be fully booked.

Breakfast, room and view could not be better. Very well organized and staff very helpful, speaking also different languages. Also, the outdoor swimming pool was exceptionally clean and quite big as well. Very highly recommended.

The exit from the hotel to the main road was a bit difficult since there is no pavement. Just to be a little bit cautious!

The staff of this hotel is very kind and professional. We had some problems with our room, due to the doors was broken, the staff reacted fast and adequate. We have changed the room and received breakfast for free. The bed was big and very comfortable, localization and a view from balcony is fantastic.

Some of the hotel decor could do with a refresh eg carpets stained and worn in places. Parking was a little congested.
