Breakfast was quite limited and lacked variety. The focus was mostly on cakes and sweet items, so if you’re not a fan of sugary food, the options were very restricted. Each day offered the same selection—no change in bread, cheeses, or other items—and there was very little in terms of savory choices. It was also a bit unusual that breakfast wasn’t self-service. The food was kept behind a glass counter, making it difficult to see what was actually available, and this added to the overall lack of flexibility.

There were plenty of staff, and most were very friendly—especially the female staff members. However, some spoke little to no English, which occasionally led to misunderstandings. In terms of food, the price-to-quality ratio was disappointing. Compared to the rest of Puglia, the prices felt inflated and not justified by the quality. Additionally, the vineyard “formulas” seemed exaggerated and did not reflect good value.

The Masseria Montenanapoleone is an escape from the everyday. The property was covered with olive trees, and all sorts of vegetation. It has acres and acres to explore, and animals like goats and chickens (and a number of cats seem to rule over the property.) The detailed design--in every room, in the restaurant, in the breakfast room, and across the property--was thoughtful and impressive. We had an amazing meal in the restaurant, including olive oil, pasta, wine, and other products grown or made on the farm. Both the food and the service were five-star. Breakfast is beyond ample with a wide variety of offerings, with warm, professional service. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely nothing!

This place is like you’re staying in a fantasy land. Everywhere you turn the Masseria catches your eye with something quirky and wonderful all at the same time. An Italian hideaway with a French influence too, the staff were amazing and kind at every turn. The breakfast was plentiful. Fresh fruit, bread, pastries, yogurt, coffee of any kind you liked. Indoor and garden seating. Rooms cleaned every day.

Wifi was poor so if you have to take work calls, there is a problem but if you don’t care and want to be lost, then this is your place.

Everything about this place is amazing! Nothing can be faulted. Every corner of the place is picturesque and there’s so many unique and interesting things everywhere you look. They offer so many activities & experiences which are amazing! The food is great, the staff are so friendly, and the location is ideal to travel to nearby towns such as monopoli. The most beautiful, interesting, relaxing, and fun place we’ve ever stayed!

This place is absolutely amazing. Rustic, with a charm and a soul, a place one will never forget. Definitely a highlight of our family PUGLIA road trip. Delicious food served with a lot of taste. Attentive and kind service (also to our sometimes noisy kids). Comfortable parking. Rooms are very tastefully decorated to the last detail. Very comfortable beds and mattraces. Lovely pool with a Botanical Bar next to it, serving drinks and foods. Our kids only wished we stayed for longer than 4 nights. We had a rental car and visited the area (Alberobello, Cisternino, etc) around on small (half)day trips. VERY highly recommended. We will return with much pleasure.

Such a beautiful place, the attention to detail was incredible. Very tranquil, the pool is lovely and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Touches like the Masseria's own products in the shower were really nice.

Only a very minor thing, but we would have preferred a full buffet breakfast instead of having to "order" cake and pastries. Everything else was perfect!

This is one time experience you should have in life! The natural surroundings : vineyard, the orange, the almonds and olivs orchards, the authentic design, everything was amazing! The rooms are very clean, nice design. The staff are very polite, the food is great (they produce the most ingredients they use for cooking). If you are staying during the week or extraseasion the price is very good! I felt in love for life with this Masseria!

Amazing property, beautiful pool, restaurant and rooms. The property was super clean and had so many different gorgeous features. The staff were very friendly. We did the cooking class and loved it. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back and stay again!

Our stay at the Masseria was absolutely superb! Everything was excellent, from the very friendly personal service to the high-quality food. The location was breathtaking and the grounds were incredibly beautiful. I’m truly impressed by this place and would recommend it with full confidence!

There is no picture or enough words to describe how incredible is this place. If you wanna emerge yourself in the italian vibe, book your stay here, you’ll forget all your worries. There is such a relaxed atmospehere, friendly staff, the rooms are stunning, they take care of every detail to make your stay unforgettable. The gardens are breathtaking and the house itself is stunning! Don't forget to pet to goats before you leave.
