I loved the place, the building, the garden and the breakfast is very delicious. The property is extremely beautiful and peaceful. The staff are very nice and friendly.

The A/C wasn’t working properly. The bathroom (toilet) doesn’t give any privacy with the all glass wall and the door also does not close. This is a big problem. Also the shower is all open which I do not think is nice and comfortable. The stair case to go up to the apt C is very narrow and steep which makes very hard to bring the suitcases up and down also to walk on it.

Wow, we just left Masseria San Giovanni yesterday and I'm already planning my return trip! Seriously, that place was incredible. ☀️ It felt like staying in a gorgeous old castle, but with all the modern comforts you could ask for. Super peaceful location surrounded by olive trees, yet close enough to explore the town and beaches. The staff was amazing: friendly, helpful, and always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. A huge shoutout to Veronica, the front office manager! She was absolutely stunning, so helpful and kind, and she even recommended some fantastic local restaurants where we had the most amazing food. Our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated – they really thought of everything! Breakfast was a delicious feast of fresh local foods, and the pool was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. Honestly, Masseria San Giovanni was just magical.

A beautiful masseria among picturesque olive groves and cacti plants. Very well kept landscape and grounds. Nicely furnished common spaces and rooms. Our room was rather small, but comfortable. We really enjoyed the balcony (a shared balcony for the 3 rooms, but all in all we had it just to ourselves). Loved the sea and sunset view during the day and the stargazing at night! The hotel staff is very attentive and friendly. They gave us very good tips about local restaurants and places to visit. Made our restaurant reservations every day and were always smiling and talkative. All in all, a dream location close to all the main attractions and towns of Puglia!

Essentially two things need a bit of upgrading- the pool area- beautiful place with an unusual pool, but very scarce amount of umbrellas. If the pool area is full there is not enough shadow for even half of the people. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The quality of food and ingredients vas very good, but you could probably benefit from a real buffet- not only pastries on display, but also e.g. mozzarella, hams etc. The guests don’t know that those things are available unless they specifically ask. The same thing goes for eggs- write on a chalk board that you offer omelette or different egg variations, so that people know they can order them. The breakfast seemed also limited in terms of staff, I think you need more people in order to accommodate everyone in the busy season.

It’s a wonderful place to stay if you want to have a quiet relax time and enjoy good food and wine in the middle of lots of local olive and wine farms. If you want to have a more active vacation look elsewhere.

The a/c unit is not powerful enough for summer heat. It’s not terribly bad but if you like super cold temperatures to sleep you may not like it

I loved the experience, the staff was very careful and the place felt really calm and interesting.

The hotel was a bit distant from any other attractions, so we did not enjoy very much of the restaurants that were in the vicinity. Nevertheless, the hotel's own restaurant is a good option.

Beautiful Masseria, rooms were beautiful and the amenities smelled great. Breakfast was delicious: small variety of options but everything was absoluy delicious. The location is great to drive to every town in Puglia

They didn’t have a proper restaurant and no other activities to attend like spa or maybe yoga and pilates.

Great location. Peaceful. Attentive staff and helpful with additional bookings for restaurants / beach clubs around the area.

The location and the grounds of the Masseria are spectacular. Everything the buildings, the trees and the pool are very beautiful and Instagramable.

The rooms on the other hand are very basic and the breakfast is nothing to be proud of.
