The apartment is in the centre of Monopoli, in one of the nicest street of the old town. Perfectly well located to walk around and really safe if you’re a solo traveller. The host, Andrea, is really kind and makes you feel at home. The apartment is clean and new. Breakfast is included, Andrea gives you a ticket and you can have a really good cake in the bar in front of the apartment.

My room was perfect, but I would like to point that has only a really small window. For long-term-stays maybe it could be annoying.

Location is magnificent. Apt nice clean and beautiful view of the harbour. Great balcony.

Toilet paper was the thinnest shortest toilet rolls ever. Breakfast system is ridiculous. It allows for one item in each of the three sections. One drink one cake and and one bottled juice. All vary in price but still can only have one. Eg. croissants 1e and cake 4e. But you cannot have 2 croissants for 2e instead of cake. I don’t understand. I guess the Italians do!

We like everything about our stay there! Andrea was really good at communicating everything, we managed to check in a bit earlier, he helped us to sort parking (you can park at an extra cost, €25 a day in a private parking about 10 min walk to the b&b). He also sent us good recommendations to beaches, restaurants, etc. We went to a few of them and everything was amazing!! The b&b includes breakfast at the restaurant just outside, the breakfast was really nice, it includes typical Italian breakfast which is a juice, a coffee and a pastry, very good service and nice food!! We really liked this place, the location is great, just a few minutes to walk everywhere, beach, restaurants, supermarket, location couldn't have been better! The room was nice, we had a little window with a great view, bathroom is really big, good shower, it has a smart TV, mini fridge, everything you need.

The only thing we didn't like much, was the bed, it was a bit uncomfortable and very noisy when you move. Pillows were good, and everything in the room, it was just the bed that sounded a lot when you move.

Perfect location, you couldn't get any better in Monopoli. We stayed 1 night in the smaller room and the 2nd night upgraded to the suite with terrace which was incredible. Lovely song for breakfast right outside the front of the property. Host was fantastic she couldn't have done more to make our stay perfect. You can find free parking on the streets only 5 minute walk away.

The property was lovely, beautifully decorated with a gorgeous view and the location was perfect. The manager was a delight and so welcoming and gave us so much helpful information. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

A well appointed apartment in a great location with a balcony overlooking the harbour(see photo attached). Andrea was an exceptional host that looked after us very well. We are glad we stayed at Il b&b di Alice and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

As with all old towns in Italy car access by tourists is not permitted. This means you need to find parking outside the old town and then wheel your luggage to the property. Factor in paid parking 15-20 euro per day for your stay

The location is absolutely great! Andrea was very helpful with recommendations and helping us store our rental car for a few days.

I think a little more information in the room for utility phone numbers would have been good. My wife started to feel ill and we were wondering who to call, but luckily everything turned out fine. It is slightly inconvenient that the location is inside a ZTL, so a little hiking with luggage is required. Of course, this is not the fault of the B&B, and once you are there it is great :)

Cute apartment in the heart of old town, in a prime location. We were impressed with its cleanliness and how cosy it was.

This was not a dislike but would caution travellers it’s about a 10-15min walk from the main road to get to the apartment. Also would advise future travellers to pay for reserved parking with the hotel as street parking is scarce.
