First, the super warm welcome!! We arrived by train and our hotel welcomed us by being the very first van waiting for us with a name tag! After we arrived late due to delays in transit and departure schedules, our hotel staff ensured to take us straight to our apartment despite the challenge of driving in the tight alleyways. We felt very much taken care of and appreciated the warm hospitality!! The best experience we had in all of Pulgia. The space was large and comfortable with a full kitchen and large bedroom. In the middle of old town with easy access to everything! We loved our stay! We adored Monopoli. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!!

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The reception building is adorable, and my apartment was just a short walk away. I liked the convenience of the old city near the ports and beaches. Walked to Spiaggia di Cala Porto Rosso for a beach day and was a lovely spot to swim not too far away. Tons to do right around the hotel room too, closer beaches as well. Room itself was stunning, clean, and huge. It felt luxe, light, and airy. Without a doubt, one of the most comfortable beds I've had in a hotel! Would definitely stay with Albergo Diffuso Monopoli again!!!!!

The only downside for me is that the reception area is separate from the apartments you stay in. The staff is lovely and it would be more comfortable having staffing nearby, especially as other residents and travelers are staying in the same building. Simply for security and safety reasons. They offered a shuttle to the train station for my pick-up, but my train departure was too early and they could not drive me the morning I departed. The trek from the apartment in the old city to the train station with luggage was not ideal, but I managed and still made it for the train on time.

Location was great but to reach you either need to come by car until parking spot and then walk like 17 minutes(or you can drive until old town entry point but cannot park there only stop by) or they can take you with car from parking spot and then you can walk from there. Either way it was fine, they were very helpful about the informations, breakfast was good pastry fruit kind of breakfast, our suite was small but good and clean, bathroom was new and nice. Overall satisfied and would like to come back.

The location was great, in the heart of old town. The city has a big free parkig 15 min walking distance to the apartament, and it felt very safe and organized, we gladly left our car there. The first day when we arrived we were given a complimentary breakfast and could check in before 16:00. One day our apartment lost power after the reception was closed and they came by in 15 minutes and fixed it. Our apartment was completely renovated and very beautiful.

Breakfast was not very diverse, it was traditional.

The hotel is located in the old Town of Monopoli! Mass of Terrasses, Restaurants, cozy bars when come out of your room. The breakfast is fabulous. The English lady is giving all het love and attention to the buffet, to make the guests happy.

The room was quite small: no change to lay the suitcase somewhere: not even on the floor. But the good equipped bath room and the fridge made it all good.

2nd time i have stayed here ..Sylvia was so kind and wrlcoming and made our stay great. Francesco our skipper on the boat exercusion was so nice & made our tour the best so recommend him.. they cut the tree down & we got to really enjoy the view amd the balcony day & night this time and the vibe in the piazza … great stay again

We only stayed one night but it was very nice. Beautiful spacious room in a great location in the old town, all restaurants and bars of Old Monopoli in walking distance. Enormous comfortable bed! The TV (with Netflix) was good

Getting to the room is tricky if you have a lot of luggage as you can only arrive on foot (limited vehicle access) and the transfer service to the main town wasn't available when we wanted it (early morning)

We would again again, but it was an awkward room as it was street level so people were eating their breakfast and hanging out outside our window, which made it a little less private for our liking. Also there was a little miscommunication with regards to storing our luggage on the first day, so we were hanging around for a few hours with the cases.

It was a nice room, large bathroom and shower and an additional room with a spa bath (unexpected but a little treat). The bed was comfortable. It was a great location with many restaurants and cafes close by. This “hotel” has a number of rooms close by there reception area but they are not all together. They also offer a breakfast buffet near reception. As most people rent a car in Puglia, this accommodation offered to pick you up and drop you off to your car that can be parked in a free carpark about 15mins walk from your room. We were happy to have stayed in Monopoli for the evening access to all the restaurants and the great summery vibe of the town. It is just 10 minutes drive or train north to see Polignano a mare and an easy drive to the beach Lidos south of the town. Only one small town beach in Monopoli that gets very crowded so don’t expect to be loving this option if you are staying a few days.

Group of 10 Ladies and we had 4 x double rooms, 2 x 2 bedroom apartments and 1 x 2 bedroom room scattered close to each other in Centro Monopoli. All accommodation was unique and very comfortable and close to everything . Staff were amazing and couldn’t have helped us more .

Two of the properties had very steep stairs but Albergo Diffuso helped with luggage both on arrival and departure .
