Al Chiasso is in a great location, close to lots of very good restaurants (we didn't have a bad meal) and the sea too. But it's still very peaceful. The jacuzzi is a great idea to relax in at the end of the day, and the air conditioning was very welcome. Marcella was very helpful and gave us lots of good advice and recommendations.

Very minor, but two things that would have been welcome would be a washing machine, plus the ability to "cast" to the TV (we took our Chromecast but the TV was mounted in such a way that it couldn't be used)

I booked for one night here because I was only passing through, but I wish I could have stayed longer because Marcella showed us so many cool places to visit nearby. She was very hospitable and ensured that the check-in and check-out were quick so that I could make the most of our time there. Her house is located right in the old town and so I was only steps away from the beautiful historic streets and the port. I was able to easily find the house thanks to her clear indications and even found nearby parking! The house has been renovated and it's lovely. Kitchen have got everything you need to cook, bed is very comfortable (especially the pillow!) and breakfast was in a bar near by, very tasty. The plus is the amazing Jacuzzi, shame I didn't use much as I was there for one day only! Defo highly recommended and I will be back with my partner!
