My partner and I plus two friends spent six days in Puglia - two of which were spent here in Monopoli. Without doubt this was the absolute highlight of an already fabulous trip - with EVERYTHING lovingly thought of and delivered, and with the loveliest of staff. We were picked up from the train station by the smiling and friendly Rocco in their fabulous 2CV and whisked through the narrow streets of the historical centre of Monopoli to simply beautiful accommodation. The building itself houses a number of different rooms and apartments - we had two studio apartments that were immaculate, beautifully designed and everything you could imagine included: a well equipped little kitchen, a lovely bathroom with robe and slippers, a tiny balcony and a super comfortable bed. Patricia the manager was an absolute delight and showed us to our rooms, and her colleague Florinda was also so charming and helpful. The breakfast, overseen by the lovely and ever attentive Daniela, was by far the best of our whole trip (plus that of our previous visit to Puglia) with a vast selection of fresh produce, both hot and cold, and the choice to sit down the little alleyway outside the property or inside a charming little room which becomes a restaurant in the evening. All the other staff too were smiling and cheerful and welcoming. The little hotel is right in the heart of this charming little old town, overlooking a picture-perfect square, and just one street from the seafront. We will definitely be coming back for a longer visit - and will use this as a perfect base to explore the area further. We all send huge thanks to everyone at Santa Maria 24 for such a magical stay. We can't wait to see you again next time!

The nearby beach turned out to be the best beach, and I really didn't need to walk all that far to explore different beaches, turns out the best swim was the one next to the hotel. The parking nearby Carrefour was fine and relatively easy to find parking spots, granted that I went in October. The people and service was amazing, I got good driving route tips from the hotel staff. Would definitely want come stay here again.

Nothing. The place is awesome. The bed was a little bit softer than I am used to, but that's ok.

All our expectations were exceeded with Santa Maria 24! What’s not to like?!! The staff were amazing, efficient, super helpful and welcoming providing great communication regarding our arrival, parking and the nice surprise was they provided a free shuttle in their funky car from the parking area right to the hotel front in the old town. We all had fun zipping through the old town streets. The staff also helped to change our room bookings to the one building so our family were together and we got a sea view at no extra cost. Really great of them. The rooms all have good kitchenettes with everything you need including some condiments. Rooms are spacious, clean, bright and nicely decorated. They have a great breakfast buffet and a fantastic restaurant for the evening. We had some lovely wines and very delicious and well presented food, good music and excellent service, and then could wander back up to our room. Wish we had eaten here more! Location was excellent right in the midst of the old town so easy to walk everywhere. It’s one of the very few properties I actually can’t find anything to improve on!!! I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here next time I visit Monopoli. Huge thanks to Florinda, Claudio, & the fabulous team there.

The only thing I can actually think of is to advise potential clients that there are a number of stairs to get to the rooms we stayed in 2-3 floors up. So if you have challenges with mobility and lots of stairs please request rooms lower down when booking. I’m sure the lovely team will help you out.

The location is absolutely beautiful. Transportation from the parking lot to the hotel (and back) is provided in a retro car, which is an experience in itself. Just a note—this service is available until 6:30 PM. The staff was more than kind and approachable—truly made the stay even more enjoyable with their warmth and helpfulness. Breakfast was exceptional, made with high-quality ingredients. The selection included eggs, salmon, avocado, and more—fresh and delicious. The comfort level of the bed and pillows was outstanding, and the quality of all kitchen and bathroom amenities was top-notch. Almost everything felt authentic and thoughtfully curated. The rooftop terrace has great potential to become truly perfect—it would benefit from more greenery and stylish furniture. Still, thanks to its stunning seaside location, it's a beautiful spot to enjoy both sunrise and sunset.

One thing to keep in mind: the stairs are quite steep, which could be a challenge for guests with limited mobility. It seems that there are some ground-floor apartments available, so older guests or those with mobility concerns might consider requesting one of those.

Nice beach vibe. Location was great. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom.

No air conditioning like advertised. Be truthful in advertising. (No ac until May, heat is on until May even when days are 70+) Room was hot with 50 degree nights, very hot with 70+ degree days). Staff not truthful about no ac until May, nor understanding since they prefer it hot. Noisy with windows open over the Piazza but nothing earplugs couldn’t manage. Room not restocked daily with amenities like coffee, without a charge. 2 flights of stairs to the room. No elevator if one was needed.

We stayed in apartment 11 Cappero which was ideally situated with a Seaview from a small balcony. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equiped. It was located in the historic centre close to many restaurants and the port for day trips. Easy to walk around the area as it is mostly flat. The host Rocco picked us up outside of the historic centre and drove us to our apartment. The reception staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was provided with a wide variety of sweet and savoury options. The staff were very attentive and personable. We would highly recommend staying at this property.

Nothing it was just perfect!

Santa Maria 24 exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the "Melissa" suite which was absolutely beautiful (it was newer, more spacious and even more chic than the current pictures in the website - probably b/c each suite is unique). It was very clean, the A/C was fully cold, and kitchenette stocked for cooking small meals. We were welcomed by two bottles of water and very friendly reception. They picked us up from the train station, it was so lovely after a long journey! We were also able to ask questions, get beach towels, and they dropped us off back at the train station when we were sad to leave. We highly recommend staying here, our kids really enjoyed the place too.

Monopoli is a very lively town at night so just be prepared for some noise early or late, we didn't mind this at all.

We spend 4 amazing days in Santa Maria 24. It felt so welcoming and relaxing from the very first minute. Big kudos for delicious breakfast and coffee which you can have eaither inside or outside. Lovely, helpfull staff always greeting you with smile, and the last but not least: excellent location to explore old town of Monopoli. Few steps from the sea and plenty of bars and restaurants, but still quiet and safe. We will definitely come back :)

Everything, it was top class, I would highly recommend this property, elegant, spacious, brilliant location, right beside restaurants, shops, the Marina, beautiful churches, perfect internet service. The breakfast was amazing, the best ever, friendly staff couldn’t do enough. Dinner in the restaurant was super, stunning live music duo. We had no problem with recommended free parking, communication with reception was excellent, we had transfer in style to and from the property with our luggage. Monopoly is an ideal base while visiting Puglia .

Excellent location, right in the old city. Step outside and you’re close to the centre of town and the beach. We had apartment with gorgeous ocean views. The apartment was modern and clean with great amenities. Staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast on site is a bonus, the options were plentiful and everything was delicious. We thought it was great value for money, even in peak summer season. They have a cute blue car for local pick ups and drop offs. There are no lifts, that was not an issue for us, but worth noting if you have a pram/small kids or mobility issues. Perhaps request a room in a lower level.
