The location is perfect for staying in Monopoli and close enough to free parking to make it a great location for exploring Puglia further. Riccardo was very helpful throughout our stay and went above and beyond. He messaged us before we arrived with parking instructions and gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat in Monopoli. He even helped set up a surprise in the room for my girlfriend's Mum with balloons and Prosecco for her birthday!

It would have been nice to have some tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Our stay was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly comfortable – everything was spotless and beautifully prepared. The location, right in the heart of the old town, combined with the absolutely stunning view of the sea from our room, felt like pure magic and a true balm for the soul. Riccardo was one of the kindest and most thoughtful hosts we've ever met, making us feel truly welcome and cared for. The entire place felt luxurious, full of warmth and charm – we honestly didn’t want to leave. The breakfasts were delicious, full of flavor and love, and the whole atmosphere was so special it made our stay feel like a dream. There is absolutely nothing we could criticize – only that it ended too soon. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories.

Riccardo was the perfect host, picking us up from the train station and making us feel very welcome. The location was in the heart of old Monopoli, so close to great restaurants, sea views and only minutes to a swimming and sun bathing area. The complex has been superbly refurbished. Housed in an original building yet everything inside was updated and new.

The location is busy and vibrant but it took us a couple of days to work out how to seal the door at night to keep the noise out. We weren’t familiar with the type of door/ window system. Once we got that sorted it was blissfully quiet.

We had the amazing experience at this place, our accommodation perfectly situated by the sea.Before arrival Riccardo, reached out with a text offering to pick us up from the train station a truly thoughtful gesture and he carried our luggage to our room and dropped us back to the train station after checkout Each morning, we were treated to a delicious fresh breakfast, a delightful surprise we hadn't anticipated. Our room was so clean and fresh, all the staffs were so friendly and always wished us with a smile. The place was cleaned thoroughly every day. A heartfelt thank you to Riccardo for making our trip so memorable. His acts of kindness not only elevated our journey but also reminded us of the genuine goodness that exists in people.

Very comfortable and clean apartment with an amazing sea view from the balcony. The host was very helpful providing information where to park the car and how to get into the apartment. After the checkout he drove us to the car parking so we didn't have to walk. Apartment contained free Wi-Fi, A/C, TV and a coffee machine, kettle and fridge. The bathroom was clean, with shower, towels, shampoo and shower gel. There was a side sea view from the balcony. In the morning there was a delicious breakfast in the same building where we could ask for sweet (e.g. croissants, cakes) or salty (a few types of ham and cheese) food

From the very beginning communicating with Riccardo was excellent. From where to park the car, to restaurant suggestions, to sightseeing, Riccardo provided 5 star service. He told us where to park our car and met us there and helped with all of our questions. We stayed in Room 7 which is the top floor with a spectacular view overlooking the water. The walk up the stairs is not for the faint of heart. The breakfast each morning was fantastic. The location along the water was perfect for the evening passeggiate and lots of restaurant choices. We highly recommend B&B A Caste.

Nothing - everything was exceptional!

Everything. Ricardo is the happiest man on earth. He collected us from the station in his retro car and delivered us to our very comfortable sea view apartment. Located in the old town on foot access was easy. We enjoyed the daily breakfast that was considered and delicious. Communication with Riccardo was particularly appreciated and he made what was a fabulous stay even better. Monopoli is a great place to centre and plant yourself while you travel and explore the region. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Nothing - our stay was too short

The breakfast was amazing and plentiful- enough to satisfy everybody. Cold meats, cheeses, bread, pastries, fruit, cereal tea or coffee. The location was close to/in the old town amongst all the restaurants, cafes and bars. It was a bit of a walk to the station, but Riccardo picked us up, so that wasn’t a problem. This is a B&B run by Riccardo and his family who were delightful & helped us out on a couple of personal issues. A fabulous experience all round.

The steep stairs may be a problem for those on higher levels, but we were on the ground floor, so no issue for us.

We loved our unit with the small balcony with a glimpse of the beautiful water. We were able to come and go as we pleased. Riccardo was very helpful particularly when l needed assistance with a charger for my iPhone. The breakfast was delicious and well presented and the staff, including Riccardo’s gorgeous mother, were delighted. This is a great spot, very good location for exploring the old town and also the beaches nearby. Thank you for your warm hospitality. Ciao

As always the stairs are a challenge but we understand that such old buildings cannot offer anything but stairs! Pack lightly!!!😬

Wonderful room, modern and perfect location. A wonderful view of the water and close to all the restaurants in the gorgeous old town etc. We drove and Riccardo gave us details to a car parking lot but we found free spots on the surrounding streets about 10-15 min walk away. (Early June 2025) Great Lido 15 minute walk south plus 2 free great beaches before that. Highly recommend Monopli as a perfect destination to stay at. Would highly recommend staying at B&B A C-Caste here if you get the chance! Enjoy
