The location was excellent, everything was nearby. There was a common kitchen and dining hall. Chiara was very kind and flexible, she asked us a couple of times if everything was okay or if we needed anything. There was also a common terrace on the roof with chairs, a table, and a drying rack. The neighbors were also very kind.

The breakfast at the café is not really a breakfast – it’s just a tiny croissant and a coffee, and the staff are quite grumpy. It was always crowded, and a couple of times we had to wait for a table. In the apartment, the bathroom is very small and the shower is extremely narrow; if you are taller or bigger, you won’t be able to fit in. Because of this, whenever we showered, the whole bathroom got flooded. There were no wall hooks, so we couldn’t hang our towels. It would be useful to have a mop, a broom, and some wall hooks in the room.

We loved Monopoli and this accommodation was perfectly located for sightseeing and the beach. We appreciated the early check in and enjoyed our complimentary breakfast at Caffe Roma. The room was pretty, very clean with a small bright bathroom and tiny balcony. There were complimentary bottles of water and snacks in the shared kitchen.

The TV was unsecured on top of the wardrobe which was also not secured to the wall. This led to an unfortunate accident where the TV fell and was damaged. While the host assured us this had never happened before we believe TVs are generally wall mounted wherever else we’ve stayed and given Italy is in a seismic zone probably should be. Certainly if it was secured it wouldn’t have been able to fall when the wardrobe was accidentally knocked. A kettle for the room would be a nice addition. The shower though small was very clean and useable but drainage could be improved.

The property is located in the very heart of Monopoli’s historic center, which means everything is charming but also quite compact. For breakfast, guests need to take a short walk (about 200 meters) to a nearby square, where they can enjoy a typical Italian breakfast — a croissant and a coffee — by presenting the provided voucher. The apartment key is provided in a secure lockbox by the door (contact with the owner is via WhatsApp).

The bathroom is very small, with a tiny shower cabin — it has its charm, but larger guests should be aware of this.

Host was excellent - so accommodating to my needs, due to missing a funeral back at home, the host was kind enough to let me drop my bags early so that I could go somewhere quiet and they recommended where. As it was when I arrived, the cleaner said she would be 30 mins, so I left my bags, went for a wander and then came back to let myself, and she had even taken my bags to my room, which I wasn't expecting. It really helped having the room early so I could sort myself out before heading out. On what was a emotionally sad day - I instantly felt soothed by the room, it had such a magical charm to it, and I loved being in the centre of old town and looking out of the balcony.

Nothing - it was amazing place to stay

Beautifully renovated historic building. Spacious, clean room, with window facing old street. Beds comfortable. Bathroom nicely done. The kitchen (shared between the two rooms) is great, with fridge, mini-oven, toaster, kettle, even sofa. Coffee, croissants, plenty of bottled water awaiting. The breakfast is served in Caffe Roma, two minutes' walk, what a treat. Communication with owners great.

The bed cover sheet was too thin, extra blanky would be good.

Very nice and comfortable room in a great location in the Old Town. Old and atmospheric building – very well renovated. Breakfast in the cafe. My room was on the 2nd floor (another room on the 1st floor), and on the ground floor there is a shared kitchen. Possibility to leave and store luggage in the kitchen.

Narrow stairs and very steep stairs. It is a bit difficult to use the kitchen on the ground floor and the terrace on the 3rd floor. But such are the charms of an old tenement house in the old town :)

Central location in old town on a pretty and quiet little street. The room is gorgeously decorated, spacious and very clean. There is a shared kitchen on the ground floor and terrace at the top. Quick and easy communication with the host. Monopoli is such a beautiful town.

Lovely little space in the heart of the old town. Facilities were a little rudimentary but perfectly serviceable for our needs. They kindly allowed us to store luggage after check out.

The shower was a little small and would have liked more pillows on the bed but otherwise no complaints.

The apartment was wonderful — everything was close by (the center, main sights, and the train station). It really gives you a true feeling of what it’s like to live in Monopoli. Despite being right in the city center, it was perfectly quiet in the evenings.

First of all, it is in the old town, so great location, most of the restaurants that we went to were 2/3 min away. Same for the beaches. The room is spacious, with a big, comfort bed, window to the street and a bathroom. On the top of the building there is a terrace, pretty good view over the neighborhood. The breakfast was surved near by, at Café Roma, really good choice, they have a variety of pastries, gelato and kind service. It also has a kitchen with a small fridge and others, in case you want to prepare a quick snack. All in all, i would say is very clean and well kept by the lovely host.
