Only issue was wheel chair access. We have found on booking.com they commonly over represent wheel chair acsessability. Im not sure at which end the overstatement occurs. Not too much of a problem for us as I can carry but others may not be able to. This place was 3 floors and no lift so if booking ensure you are booking first floor if it matters.

The location was great, the room was large and well decorated. The beds were super comfortable with good bedding!

We had NO IDEA this was a vegan/vegetarian only place. We later went back and read the whole description but it is listed as the last info on the page and felt frustrated. We understand that's on us for not reading the full description* However, not even offering real coffee was a huge disappointment. I think advertising (in the pictures especially) that this beautiful place is vegan/vegetarian and "health" focused would be beneficial and attract the right crowd!

- beautiful location - the room was large, cosy, the beds were comfortable - breakfasts were rich, tasty, wide selection

- the menu of vegetarian lunch dishes could have been more interesting and wider - because the menu is fixed there was nothing to choose from during a longer stay

great family room with small separate bedroom and large living room with double bed and sofa bed. small kitchen. beautiful view, quiet, very close to small lake with moor water for swimming, lots of walking opportunities.

the food was ok, our picky children weren‘t so happy.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We arrived a little later than we hoped for, but they even kept the restaurant open so that my children could eat dinner!

This hotel is in a fantastic location and we were tempted by the vegan/vegetarian restaurant which offered a rich menu. The food was very good, the breakfast also very good.

However, the hotel does not serve alcohol or caffeinated drinks. The tea is decaf and the coffee is some other type called lupino. They have de-alcoholised wine and beer. Unfortunately, they do not mention this on the web site (or we didn't see it before). If this is made clear then it would be more helpful.

Lovely place and hotel. If you love nature, modern architecture with natural touch...that is the place u want to visit!
