Location, just off motorway and restaurants near by, walking distance. Receptionist friendly and helpful. Room bright and clean. Bed very large and comfortable. Warm inviting room on very cold night. Lots of parking. Quite area. Breakfast plentiful choice and worth the money I thought.

Restaurant at property was closed for Christmas period. Not a problem as Leon across road was a great find but was looking forward to trying restaurant as it had good reviews.

very warm welcome and friendly staff both at check in and check out. Very pleased to see that dogs are welcome in the restaurant as well as the rooms - if I'd known this before we would have had dinner there too - food in Companile is always good but we don't always book for dinner or breakfast as the dog is not always welcome in the restaurant and can't be left alone in the room and it was too cold to leave in the car.

I was worried it might not be warm enough on such a cold night but if anything the room was too warm and the aircon was not easy to adjust.

Our room was fresh, immaculately clean and comfortable. The staff were happy, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their smiles at reception was very welcoming. The restaurant area was clean, fresh and pleasing, we had vegetarian Pizza and it was cooked to perfection. The breakfast selection was great, everything you could want for a great start to your journey. We would be more than happy to stay at Campanile Chalon-sur-Saone again.

There is nothing comes to mind to improve on, we were very happy with our stay.

Clean room and bathroom with good shower property conveniently located just off toll roads for overnight stop. Has own restaurant offering 3 course meal for about 26 euros with buffet starters cooked main meal from a choice of 5 dishes and buffet style dessert table. Food isn’t top quality but neither is the price. Staff helpful . Also has a bar

The restaurant menu was very good and the food was better than expected very tasty. Breakfast was good and the scrambled eggs achieved an excellent rating from me.

We had no complaints. The hotel was just what we needed for an overnight stop.

I regularly use this hotel when traveling to southern Europe, it has an absolutely excellent location, right next to the highway and just a few steps from restaurants and shops. Despite its proximity to the highway, the hotel is quiet and very peaceful. Parking directly at the property.

campanile as usual, clean and tidy, beds very comfortable and kettle is welcome after a long drive from the ferry. parking good.

our only downside with the hotel, which is partly not their fault, was that there was a coach party staying and breakfast was horrendous. buffet table didnt seem big enough. the drinks were in a dark corner and we were queuing to get past the hords for the food. also, we later found out that there was hot food which we could not even see.

Very friendly personnel at reception + restaurant. Clean and quiet rooms. Kettle in the room. The hotel features a very good value for money restaurant, no gastronomy but well priced good food with a nice choice. The neighbourhood is nothing to talk home about but the hotel is very close to the motorway.

Our first experience of a Campanile. Didn’t realize it was a motel. Doors seem quite secure. Powerful Aircon so a good place to stay when temperatures are high. A step up from Ibis Budget - there is a proper bathroom with space for toiletries and large mirror. This one had a hairdryer. The kettle and tea /coffee was nice to have.

There was no security staff or cctv visible at the back of the block although all was fine.

Close to the motor way - great place for a stop for the night. Food in the hotel was good and the kids - small and big - like the desert buffet!

No family room available for us so stayed in two of the cabin type rooms. Not the best views but for us it was a break in the journey- we arrived in the dark and left in the dark!
