A very nice welcome from the host and we were guided to a room in the next building. Behind the building there was the pool area. We did not have the time to enjoy the swimming pool, but it had a wonderful view over Vaison and it was cosy to spend some time there. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and it was located in the garden with views over the town. the location is wonderful in the middle of the old town with some option for diner on walking distance. I read some comments on the difficult parking situation, so we didn't do it, but I saw a small parking lot right in front of the hotel. With some guidance and a little map from the hotel it was easy to reach from the other side of the old town although I would not advice so if you're not comfortable of navigating in narrow and inclining streets.

The room did have some airco, but not sufficient to get the room cooled down (it was a mobile device with limited capacity) and the shower head was not holding to the rod, so you had to hold it yourself. An easy fix I guess. The bathroom had a bit of a sewage smell, but not to overwhelming.

This is a characterful small hotel with a pretty garden terrace and a pool within the medieval citadel with stunning views over the town below.

A more extensive breakfast perhaps although it was perfectly adequate

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The venue is beautiful. We ate a delicious dinner on a terrace above the old town watching the sun go down over the whole town. Breakfast was lovely, and also served in those beautiful surroundings. The pool is beautiful, we had it to ourselves. There was nothing not to like at this hotel and I recommend it highly.

Great building with lots of original features. Outside spaces and the pool were fantastic.

I was fine , as travelling by bicycle, but be mindful the building is up a steep hill within the village and parking is limited and very tight.

Historic and picturesque! Location was outstanding. We enjoyed two early evening times reading and taking in the lovely garden!

The outdated bathroom - the “shower” was awkward, the bed was not so comfortable.

Great location. Staff was very nice and very friendly. Breakfast was superb with a lovely view.

We were in the annex property. Wi-Fi was very spotty in our room.

Uncomfortable chairs in the dining area, somewhat cold receptionist at the start, though he was a lot friendlier after a while

Cosy clean room, friendly helpful staff, decent breakfast, amazing view from the terrace. Highly recommended.

we liked the fact that it was very old and kept its style. the garden terrace and views were spectacular.
