There is much to recommend about this place. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it is in an excellent location close to the scenic centre of of Bosa, with bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. The room was very large with period features including frescoes on the ceiling. Breakfast was good. The dedicated parking is close by and only once was there no space there (requiring us to park a short distance away).

Although the room was generally very clean, there was a smell in the bathroom which got worse over the course of our stay. When we mentioned this to the lady on the desk she said that other guests had raised this so hopefully this will soon be fixed.

The property is perfectly placed to explore the old town of Bosa. The accommodation was excellent. The building itself is a beautiful old building inside it is very attractive and comfortable. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and had a very varied choice. Our room had been cleverly designed so we had a mezzanine area to sleep in.

No coffee or tea making facilities. The room came with a balcony although because if it’s design it was halved with the room next door. Although the views were stunning.

This property, having been a hotel since 1896, comes with a few eccentricities that make it all the more endearing. Having now stayed here 3 separate times, twice with groups we were responsible for, it was fun to hear a multitude of reflections. The rooms vary in style but all retained character worthy of writing home about. Many of the rooms had a loft bed overlooking the main body of the room and many enjoyed this. The suites were generous with outstanding views of Bosa's colorful hillside and the river Temo. The breakfast presentation was super and the onsite restaurant was also very good. In addition, I thank Sabrina, the owner, for organizing an outstanding staff. Andrea in the restaurant, Sylvia and Allissandro at the front desk, Vanessa and the chef at breakfast are all five star additions to Palazzo Pichedda. Thank you so very much.

What a fabulous say – I wish we could have stayed longer. It was a lovely, quiet hotel with a delish breakfast. The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Alex at the front desk. We arrived (very) early, so we left our bags in the lobby and he arranged to have them taken up to our room when it was ready. But he also provided us with so many helpful and detailed recommendations about what to see and do in the area. We really appreciated his help and extensive knowledge; a very nice guy. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs one night and it was also excellent. Shower and bed were terrific, parking was secure and across the street. I can't think of anything we didn't like about our stay. Except that we had to leave.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my three children, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location of the hotel is superb—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to everything we needed. The convenience of having a car park available made our stay stress-free, especially when traveling with kids. We loved how close the hotel was to shops, restaurants, and even a laundrette, which made our stay even more comfortable. The room itself was clean, spacious, and perfectly suited for a family of four. My children had plenty of space to play and relax, which made a big difference during our stay. One of the highlights for us was the board games available in the lobby. It was a great way to spend some quality time together in the evenings, and the kids absolutely loved it. The staff at the hotel were also incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests we had. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and I would highly recommend this hotel to families or anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in the city. We will definitely be returning on our next visit!

While our stay at the hotel was largely enjoyable, one aspect that could use some improvement was the breakfast service. The breakfast options were a bit limited, which was disappointing. Additionally, we noticed that some of the food items had run out about an hour before breakfast was scheduled to end, and unfortunately, these items were not replenished. This left us with fewer choices than we had anticipated, which was a bit frustrating. With a bit more attention to the breakfast service, this hotel could easily provide a much more satisfying start to the day for its guests.

Fantastic Hotel, met at reception by Alex who was exceptional. Helped fill a vehicle accident form out with me as it was all in Italian. Explained areas to visit especially his home town filled with murals. Alex could not have been more helpful… Had a problem with our room one evening and Celia at reception resolved it immediately, very helpful. Hot buffet breakfast available. Breakfast very good. Location excellent. Would highly recommend… Private parking available which is good for Sardinia. Bosa is a lovely town with plenty of places to eat & drink..

We let the hotel know that it was our 45 anniversary, so when we arrived Alessandro at the front desk informed us that our room had been upgraded to a junior suite at no additional cost. Not only was the 3rd floor suite (accessed by a glassed-in elevator) fabulous, the large terrace (with chairs, table and lounge chairs) offered spectacular views of the city, castle and surrounding mountains. The hotel is a study in class and elegance. When we ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant, due to our anniversary, we were offered complimentary glasses of Prosecco. The included breakfast the next morning was delicious and ample offering a smorgasbord style featuring both hot and cold items and as well as sweet and savoury selections. Angelica at the front desk later the first evening and the next morning was charming, helpful and answered a number of questions we had. We had a wonderful one night stay in a beautiful classic old, but completely renovated, hotel.

Nothing.

I arrived on 31st March , Easter Sunday and I was made very welcome. I was encouraged to book in the hotel restaurant. When I found myself there at 8 pm, I was perhaps the only tourist - everybody else was clearly local (which is always a good sign of a restaurant). The menu itself was highly impressive, the beverages were terrific and I wish I could have given Edwardo a larger bar order. The hotel itself is hisorical. My own room had a painting on the ceiling. The bed was lovely, the bathroom was delightful and many would have wanted to bring the bathroom mirror home with them . Alex (the gentleman on the front desk) was eager for me to make the most of the historical areas nearby. He even wrote a list of suggestions, knowing I was planning on heading south. I did in fact stop in Tharros but couldn't find time for his other suggestions. There was parking nearby and given the hotel was central to Bosa which had no publicc parking, this was some achievement. The next morning I climbed to the top of Bosa Castel and I had the opportunity to see the best of the historic town.

can't think of anything they could have done better

The hotel is beautiful, it’s super clean, it’s much better than a regular 3-star hotel, and most of the staff is wonderful and super attentive, especially the gentleman at the front desk.

One of the waiters at the restaurant wasn’t very polite, he kept rushing us to order, and began switching off the lights and closing the curtains while we were still at the sitting at our table. If he wanted us to order faster, or wanted us to leave, there were many ways of letting us know in a kind, polite, and professional manner. (Apart from him, all the staff was exceptional).
