We rarely write reviews, but our experience at Marina 4 Rooms and its exquisitely managed restaurant has left us feeling compelled to share our thoughts. From the moment we arrived, hosts Kie, Beth and the team treated us not as mere guests but instead with warmth that feels as effortless as it is genuine. Their care and thoughtfulness infused every moment of our stay, making it truly extraordinary. The accommodations were immaculate, but the crown jewel was undoubtedly their restaurant with a westerly view out over the sea. Kie and Beth’s dedication to serve up quality food means they have to source some ingredients from far and wide. Kie went above and beyond by organising an absolute hidden gem of an experience for us—a secret phenomenon that even locals are unaware of. Without revealing too much (because this is something you must witness for yourself and is a secret worth keeping from the Instagram fueled masses), Kie & Beth's knowledge and passion for this natural event turned it into the most breathtaking moment of our 30-day journey through the Philippines. It’s an experience that words cannot do justice to, one we’ll never forget and one we will search for again in the future. Note - it does rely on certain weather conditions, but make sure to ask what I'm on about when you visit! Thank you!

It was a very cute room the only hot shower I’ve had in the Philippines after travelling for a month, the manages Key ( chef) and Beth, actually made my day. They set me up with accommodation the day before my booking as an emergency they were kind funny and just so welcoming you can always tell this when all the backpackers gravitate towards their restaurant without key and Beth it wouldn’t have been the same. Great views great food and the only hot shit I’ve ever had in the Philippines.
Nothing to me, this is perfect for the area best hotel best managers coolest vibes and the food was absolutely delicious.

Rooms where clean and spacious, very homey. The restroom was small but the shower installef was overhead so it was managable. Location was superb right in the middle of San Vicente town proper near stores, laundry shops, groceries and restaurants.
Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. For starters, it starts quite late 8:30 to 10 am and eventhough we stated an exact time for us to eat ex. 10:00am she would only start to prepare the food at 10:00 am so it’s not that ideal for people with schedules tours for the day. It was low season so the restaurant was closed and the chef was not there. The breakfast was just toast and bland soggy eggs and 2 pieces of pineapple.

We really liked how the hostel was right in the middle of San Vicente. When you woke up and walked outside, you felt like a local, and the town had a very village like feeling. The room we stayed was also nice, with a nice outside view. The rooftop lounge and kitchen was also really nice. We enjoyed the views from up there, and the staff were extremely helpful and kind.
We liked everything about it. The only thing is that it felt a bit small compared to other places we stayed at in Palawan, so might not be best for people looking for something luxurious, but that also gives it that charm.

The folks managing the property are kind and generous. We stayed with them over Christmas and even though we were on our way out the door they sent us off with a delicious home cooked meal and that made our travel day! The place itself has a gorgeous rooftop where they serve breakfast and other meals. We enjoyed our mornings & sunsets there overlooking the marina. It is a 15 minute walk to Long Beach where one can walk for miles and miles along a largely undeveloped Beach. The rooms are very small, but it suited my partner and I just fine for a few nights. The shower is hot and the bathroom doesn't smell, a luxury in the Philippines. The view from our room was nice and the overall nautical design elements are cute. We appreciated having a little couch next to our bed, it somehow made the whole space seem bigger even though it's quite a small room. Everything seemed clean overall and bed was comfortable. The town was alive for the holidays but doesn't go late and otherwise it is a pretty relaxed small town surrounded by beautiful beaches and nature to enjoy. The staff are also helpful in giving suggestions on what to check out during your stay. Thanks to the crew there for the good vibes during our trip in San Vicente.
AC is loud. But we actually took it apart and cleaned it which helped with the noise so we suggest more regular cleaning of them.

The property is hosted by a uk couple Kie (chef) and Beth (Hotel manager / front of house) throughout my entire stay they went above and beyond to ensure I was not only satisfied with my room but also got the most out of the beautiful place that is San Vicente, from booking boat trips and organising mopeds and even taking me on a personalised tour to one of either favourite spots. This dream team made my stay in San Vicente a completely unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend checking out the hotel even if it’s just to meet the hosts.
Marina 4 rooms was absolutely stunning. The top Terrance stands taller than most other buildings in the area this along with the open air decor gives you the most amazing 360 view of the surrounding area and it is a must go stop to enjoy a good hearty meal or a drink while you watch the sunset over the horizon

Best value in San Vicente. The rooms are small but well-appointed and tastefully decorated, it’s in a great location in the center of the small town, and the restaurant on the roof is one of the best in the area. They serve western favorites in additional to the typical asian fare. For breakfast we had homemade yoghurt and granola, and really good coffee!
Travelers should be aware that the bathrooms are wet rooms, which we didn’t mind, especially given the very reasonable room rate.

The inside of the building is very charming and the room is really nice. There is a beautiful terrace for breakfast and dinner if you like and the food is really good. Staff super helpful and friendly.
I would have given it a higher rating if it wasn’t for the bathroom. It was tiny. Shower, toilet think all in one tiny space. Don’t know if it was just our room. I don‘t really understand why. There would have been plenty of room for a separate shower. The plumbing was right there. I couldn’t even take a picture of this bathroom, that‘s how tiny it was!

Rooms are spacious, beautifully designed and had everything I needed. Beds are comfortable and the rooms were quiet and clean. Had a great evening with the friendly staff. The terrace restaurant on top of the hotel, has stunning views and the best view of sunset in the whole of San Vicente. The food here was delicious, all together I had a fantastic stay. The attention to detail and the way James goes above and beyond to help his guests, is very welcoming. San Vicente has a lot to offer with breath taking beaches, viewpoints and fun boat trips for snorkeling. Will definitely recommend and will stay again, for sure!
Nothing, had a great time!
