Booked it because it is right by the beach, and has strong wifi. The staff are lovely and helpful. The room is a nice size you can move around in, and the bathroom is clean with hot water showers. I didn't go for aircon, and was happy with my room with ceiling fan. (However, if you are sensitive, you can hear the aircon from the other rooms). Food at the restaurant is simple, I enjoyed the local options (Tinola and Dried Fish). Massage on-site was a bonus. Location is great, nearby restaurants and bars within walking distance. (In the evenings, you may hear music from the next door bar. The live performances are lovely if you're in the mood for music. They run until 9pm, based on what I experienced.)

Very good location directly at the beach. The rooms are simple but that is what you can expect for this price. The breakfast is not great but enough to get you going in the morning. As I like a good coffee I recommend to get this somewhere else. They also provide happy hour to zip some cheap drinks.

As I wrote the rooms are simple (we had the standard fan room, so therefore I cannot comment on the loud AC that other people mention) the bathroom is basic as well. But we are talking about a kind of hostel style hotel, so everything good.

Localization was just perfect! Our room with sea view was a perfect choice. Stuff was really nice and helpful. Boat tour bought from the guy from Hotel was actually the best island hoping during our stay at Palawan and Coron :) Breakfast was simple, but good. WiFi was great, we’ve had access to WiFi also in our room :) Great value for this money!

Bathroom should be renovated, having a gas boiler next to my head under the shower was little bit scary :) Room was really small, but I should have notice that before booking :)

Location is perfect, 7 minute walk from the van terminal and right in front of the beach. Plenty of restaurants and eateries around. Amazing place to watch the sunset. Breakfast is included and absolutely delicious. I had the pancakes and couldn’t even finish them. They come with fruits, too.

The room was like a tree house with the bathroom downstairs. This was but inconvenient especially when you need to use the toilet at night. But the pictures were honest about this so not the property’s fault. The shower didn’t have any pressure because there is a shortage of water as it hasn’t rain for 4 months. So we had to shower with a bucket, but not a major problem.

Awesome position, the tour booked via the hotel (A) was top notch, amazing breakfast, nice staff. The restaurant (and cocktails) is great as well! All in all, this place was for us a one stop shop for the stay in Port Barton

As all the other hotels we experienced in the Philippines, the maintenance of the building was lacking: very old and noisy AC, the small boiler in the shower took a few tries to work every time, sometimes smell of sewage would come up from the toilet. Also, rooms are a bit small and there are very few power outlets.

We stayed in the budget bungalow, which far exceeded our expectations. What a steal! Right on the beach in a very pleasant area, you can peek out the window and see the beach, kind staff, restaurant, massage, bars right outside.

For this price, we couldn’t ask for more

Beachfront—great view of the water from our balcony Private tours and boat crew—property owner also operates boat tours so we were able to walk out of our rooms right onto the boat to go island hopping and snorkeling. Terrific crew took care of us, making sure we saw the best spots and preparing the most delicious lunches. Breakfast included—good selection of dishes, fresh fruit, hot coffee and tea. The restaurant was at the bottom of the stairs so it was very convenient.

The furniture and decor in the room need updating—a fresh coat of white paint with the dark accents would make it more resort-level quality. Also, I like dogs but the town and businesses need to do more about the strays that hang around the dinner tables on the beach. It’s a problem up and down the beach area. If you don’t like dogs, stay somewhere else.

The location is perfect. I had a Seaview room which I would recommend. There’s a really nice beach bar next door but the acclimation also has a basic restaurant. Booked a great island hopping tour onsite.

For the price it’s great. There were issues with power but they have solar. I really hope the authorities sort it out as Port Barton is worth a visit!

The second floor rooms with balcony looking out onto the sunset were an amazing place to stay - great views and private. The rooms were a big size too. The restaurant is great - tasty food and very reasonably priced. Likewise breakfast was nice - not loads of choice but good quality. We did the best boat tour / snorkelling trip we have ever been on through our hotel. Uris, the tour organiser was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great - right on the beach.

Not all staff were that helpful or engaging- at breakfast, rather than greet you and offer you a menu, tended to ignore you until you came up to reception to order your food. The showers in the room aren’t great.
