The property was lovely. Island was so beautiful. Staff were amazing. Was excellent value for money. Food menu was good had few veggie and vegan options. The huts were comfortable. We booked it purely on location away from everything and loved the beach with white sand and crystal clear water to swim in. The only thing was wifi and electricity was only available 1hour in the morning and 1hour at night. Sadly I rely on my phone to speak to family and when I’m bored.
Short time for electricity and wifi. Would’ve stayed longer if that was available to use daily. Island is stunning

The perfect place to relax and enjoy a pristine beach. The place is very remote, with not so many tourists when we were there, the beach is amazing and the garden around the cottages is really nice and well maintained. The staff was amazing, helpful, always nice. The surprise was the food, they cooked really good food for us and have a lot of vegetarian options. Also, they have filtered water for refilling bottles and coconut juice and cocktails options. The room could be renovated a bit, but the beach, snorkeling place and the hike in the jungle compensate a lot and we spent most of our days outside.

Amazing setting! Beautiful secluded pristine little island with private beach. Plenty of space for everyone and nice social area in the restaurant. Plenty of activities: kayaks, tennis table, library and best of all playing with the dog Momo! Lovely food and plenty of choice. Nice staff, though they seemed a bit disorganised! At the end, they manage to resolve issues and keep everyone happy. Accommodation is basic but comfortable enough - all you need for your little island escapade!

- private island experience - clean private beach with hammocks - superb freshly cooked catch of the day - friendly staff - great private boat trip for the same price as the big group trips at Port Barton - well landscaped gardens - garden view chalets are suitably private with a great veranda and have good sea views which pleasantly surprised us
- our meals were often interrupted by the elderly yet well-meaning eccentric owner who liked to regale us with his stories. As a couple we would have valued a little more privacy.

A very nice remote island. I stayed 3 nights and wanted more! Highly recommended! You should keep in mind you will have to pay extra money for eco fee (200php) and the boat (total price both ways 800php). They can improve lunch options as they are the same as breakfast. Electricity vary, as they have a generator from 1030am to 1130am and 6pm to 9pm (same wifi). You can rent kayak and reach other beaches around. Bring enough cash as everything is paid by cash. Calculate you will spend by meal and one drink 300php to 400php
Only think I mya suggest is they can improve lunch options as they are the same as breakfast.

A little paradise! The staff was really friendly. Amazing cooks. The food prices were decent. (They even have good quality red wine). The beach was beautiful. Nice fishes. The grass in the garden was a nice change from sand. We saw beautiful fishes while snorkeling and two monkeys and some bats at night.
The room was kind of old looking but the sea view from it made us forget this part.

This is a wonderful quiet getaway since Port Barton town is getting more and more like a party place Good place to snorkel, read books, play games. Wake up to the sound of the waves
1) There are no boat activities offered via resort or third party. I'd advise to make a private arrangement in the town before visiting if you'd like to boat tour around as well 2) Not a disadvantage but do keep in mind the cost of 400php/person/boat trip to get to the resort, the trip is about 45 minutes

We loved the property being a boat ride away from Port Barton, which gave us the feel of having the entire island to ourselves at such an affordable price! Clean beach, fine sand, clear waters. There’s nothing more we could ask for. To top it off, their menu was delicious! The staff were also top notch in hospitality and were always there to assist us & make sure we were comfortable during our stay.

This place is paradise! It's simple in the sense that there's no electricity most of the day, and no cell reception - so it's not for someone looking for a fancy, modern resort. We loved the getaway, and they've made the resort so beautiful with the garden, beach and bungalows. You can discover coral reefs from the beach, swim with turtles, rent kayaks, chill in the hammocks, socialize with the other guests.. We didn't want to leave.

Amazing location if you want to escape it all. The gardens are fantastic. Really good value for money.
The food options were good, but they could be better. We wish there were more Filipino options rather than Italian. Or just grilled seafood and fish. We also wished we had more info and advice about the sandflies on the beach and how not to get bitten, as we got bitten really badly.
