Dom, Abigail, Bimboy and Jimmy (Green Leaf) went out of their way to rescue us from a mishap resulting from our decision to attempt to take a 2 wheel drive vehicle to their location. They, and a dozen guests, joined forces to got our vehicle unstuck.

Seriously, do not try to drive yourself there unless you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, regardless of how skilled a driver you are. My mistake in taking a 2 wheel drive vehicle caused a lot of problems.

A unique and unforgettable experience in nature. We stayed in a treehouse. It’s definitely back to basic but in a good way. View was amazing looking over the forest. Good welcome on arrival and nice choice of food. It’s a 4 minute walk from white beach which is untouched and beautiful- best beach we saw during our trip to the Philippines.

The owner Don was an amazing host, the best we‘ve had in the Philippines so far. The hospitality was great and staff members were very friendly. The location in the Jungle is amazing, pure nature feelings and the Huts are so cool. The food was another highlight main dishes and desserts were great.

The road is rough to get there, but totally worth the journey.

Beautiful location in the hills, with a view of the sea. The shower was good, the bed was comfortable and the food was some of the best we had in the Philippines (Cheesy Sisig was particularly great). The hosts Alex & Marine are helpful, accommodating & generally wonderful. From the bar, you can hike for miles on the roads through the jungle. We saw monkeys & macaques about 2mins walk away. For beaches, you can walk about 10mins to White Beach or 20mins to Coconut beach - both quiet & stunning (just don’t lie directly under coconuts). We loved the town of Port Barton too, but this is a very special retreat away from the hustle & bustle of the town.

unfortunately you can feel a huge difference in service when the owners are present compared to when not, our first dinner was amazing, second night service wasn't really caring but the food still amazing, also a huge mosquito problem the second night in the restaurant, anyway we would defo come back :)

Absolutely worth the 20 min tuk-tuk ride from the town. The boho ambience and endless green jungle make it a perfect place to unwind. The food is delicious and the prices are decent. Make sure to carry an insect repellent. It gets quite loud at night with geckos and insects buzzing everywhere, so a pair of ear plugs can come in handy if you have trouble sleeping.

The road to the resort is bumpy and it takes around 20/25 minutes on tuk tuk from the van station

The place is amazing! The cottages are really well built with good taste and they have amazing view over the jungle till the sea. The restaurant provides you with all you need and the food is delicious. The owners were very helpful. The closest beach is 15min walk and it's one of the most beautiful of port Barton area. We couldn't have made a better choice!

Everything was wonderful! The only thing that one must keep in mind is that the place location is a bit secluded. You have to pay for a 4x4 car that goes through a tough road for about half an hour from port Barton or walk 15min to the beach and take a boat from there. So if you want to do sightseeing around the area the transportation is a bit difficult and expensive. I recommend to stay just at jungle bar and the beach for few days to live the experience ( as I said the restaurant there is more than enough)
