This little friendly place, with just a handful of practical set up rooms, is doing everything right, without overdoing it, and nothing wrong. Everything is just so incredibly clean. Nice spacious room with attached spacious bathroom. Soap, Shampoo, towels and for once, plenty of toilet paper supplied. I really liked that the wash basin was in the room, not in the bathroom, so you don't need to step in water just for washing your hands or brushing your teeth. The room had an Aircon and a fan, hot shower and excellent lighting. It also had a mosquito net, and mosquito netting on the window. Right outside each room there is a table and chairs, and a clothes line. Superb WiFi, best I've had during my 6 weeks in the Philippines. There's a common kitchen with free hot and cold water, coffee, tea and creamer, plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, chopping knives, cooking plates, frying pan, cooking oil, and a fridge. Excellent location, just 2 min walk from the bus station and 5 min from the beach. (Budget accommodations have all gone inland these days. You pay a lot for beach front places.) The air quality was very good in the room, not damp at all despite it being the rainy season. I only used the fan, didn't need the Aircon.

It was nothing I didn't like. Regardless of how you like it, these rooms should satisfy.

Great location right next to the bus station so we didn’t have any problems transporting our bags when arriving or departing. The property is a short 5-minute walk to the beach and a short walk to anywhere you want to go in Port Barton. The bungalow was great; completely clean and felt very private. We never heard any of the other neighbors while in our room. The staff left us coffee on our balcony each morning which was a nice touch, and they were very helpful and responsive via chat when we had any questions about our stay. We ended up extending our stay here and I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Port Barton

The road to the property is unpaved and quite muddy after it rains, so you have to be careful not to slip.

The owner was such a lovely person, always available to help us with any questions! He brought us coffee every morning which was a nice treat. We could also rent a scooter with him. One day we had a little scooter crash and he was truly worried about our well-being and didn’t make a fuss about the broken mirror. So he is just a very nice guy. The room itself is simple but clean and has a quiet AC- the quietest we had on our trip in the Philippines. So thumbs up!

The room was a little dark and the mattress a bit hard, but that’s complaining on a high level😅

The room was exactly like in the pictures. Very small & simple but clean and with good air conditioning. I liked that the room was on the ground floor and had a small porch. The dispenser for free hot/cold drinking water was much appreciated. The property is secluded from the main area, so it’s nice and quiet, but you can still walk everywhere. The people were very welcoming and kind. Some more hooks on the walls for hanging up things would have been nice.

Such a lovely stay. I can understand how the ratings are so high for this accommodation. The owner goes above and beyond to help you with everything during your stay ! He organises tours and transport with discounts and is more than happy to help with everything. The room itself is perfect. Clean and comfortable with a newly fitted aircon. Beautiful balcony to sit out on with gorgeous scenery. Every morning we had a lovely surprise of coffee and hot water on our balcony which was so comforting.

Only small issue we had was the WiFi was not great, but didn’t matter to us as everything else was brilliant

Very nice and friendly hosts, they allowed us to cook. They rented a motorbike at a very good deal. Great location just behind the bus station and a few blocks away from the beach. They gave us every morning hot water thermos with coffee! It had hot water.

The WiFi wasn't good. The town has an electricity shortage very often. It would be nice having an alternative electricity supply for charging a battery and having a fan while it came back. It can be added mosquitoes net.

The owner helped us a lot with reserving tours and helped us to get discounts. We rented a scooter from Jeno cheaper than rentals on the street. Jeno is very attentive and helped us with everything in Port Barton. The room was comfortable and we asked for AC, because the days were hot. Good price for value. Definitely recommend.

Great location - right near bus station and short walk to centre & beach. Staff were so lovely and helpful when we chatted to them. Room spacious and clean with a nice porch to sit on too, felt like a proper holiday shack!

Nothing - next time would get an Aircon room instead of fan though as did get quite stuffy but that’s on us!

The friendliest owner, served hot cofee on the balcony every morning, very helpful and welcoming. The room is cozy, simple but has it all. Quiet as a small bit away from the main road but only a few minutes walk

Only the road to the accommodation, can get muddy in rain, not a big deal though
