This place is what it is, if you want a hotel where you have your own bathroom, go and book into one, this is not what you want. This is a hostel, predominantly for walkers with shared bathrooms and you make your own breakfast, on top of that it is inexpensive. If you are happy with that it is brilliant. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, quite big and the common areas are, for the most part, well maintained. There is bread, cereal, eggs and a huge selection of home made jams on offer for breakfast, as well as tea, coffee and fruit juice, but you get everything yourself and do your own washing up. There is a bar, but I have not used it so I can’t really comment. We have stayed here twice, the first time because we were going out to an event and it was the only room we could get, the second time we stayed for three days. For me, three days was a bit much to be sharing a bathroom with four other couples, but overnight was absolutely fine.

I did feel that the toilet and bathroom that we shared with others, could have been cleaned more often. I was there for three nights and it was not cleaned in that time. This did let the place down a bit, which was a shame as I have been really impressed otherwise.

1. Amazingly affable and caring people, their hospitality beyond compare. 2. The private backyard wjere kids can play and a small swimming pool for kids. 3. Free parking next to the hotel. 4. The homemade jams are delicious. No comparison with those from the supermarket. 5. The owner, a super friendly dude, speaks English well. 6. The room is spacious. 7. The continental breakfast is included. 8. They have a guitar that the hotel guests are welcome to play. 9. They let us check out later, no extra charge was made. Highly recommended!

We hated having to leave this awesome place...

This property has an amazing history of having been the French post office hundreds of years ago. Laurent and his family are so welcoming, it has an bohemian about it with a lovely garden space in the back. It’s very easy-going, breakfast is self serve and if you want to use the kitchen you can. We spent two days here and absolutely fell in love with it.

We were warmly welcomed with a cold drink and everything was explained. Our room was comfortable and clean. Our washing was done for 5 euro. We would stay again without question.

Until we learned to shut the outside window shutters flashing traffic lights at night lit up our room. Also on our second day there was no milk for breakfast but these are minor points.

Great location and lovely staff. Great breakfast before a days cycling too!

Toilet in the dormitory is very noisy, and rooms were very damp. Couldn’t use the outdoor cooking facilities as they weren’t that clean.

Super friendly hosts and very helpful. The double private room is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. There is also outside space to relax. Furthermore it is very central with a Boulangerie across the road.

Fantastic location run by generations of the same family. Very friendly, incredibly attentive and a superb breakfast. Vast amounts of home made jams and I was given a jar of water melon and citric fruit jam to take home, delicious. Look forward to re-staying!

Absolutely nothing.

Everything about this place was excellent. Before we got there, they sent us info in case we arrived late. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great with a large selection to choose from. The pool was great as it was very hot during our stay. We will be staying here again.
