It was clean and that is super important to us. Wilma was very helpful when there was a problem/mixup. They'll allowed us one extra hour for checkout so that my husband could rest longer since he has cancer.

The drain didn't work in our bathroom sink so the water would not drain out. We had to lift the plug with our fingernails and hold it.

Quiet clean comfortable room on upper level. Have stayed here several times. Many upgrades in recent years. Adequate parking area. Friendly staff. Easy checkin / checkout.

No in-room coffee maker (lobby only) and no breakfast included. Cafe downtown good alternative. Prices have jumped significantly. Just a few years ago the nightly rate was about 1/2 of what it is now.

Didn't have breakfast we had a late night, got up in time for checkout, kind of a ways from our destination I thought it was closer but not bad the stay was clean and comfortable

The staff was engaged and friendly, the room was clean and spacious, and the price was very fair.

It’s not that we didn’t like the “age” of the property, it’s just evident. (For instance our bathroom sink didn’t have a drain plug.)That said, the fact that the room was clean made all the difference to me.

We got there late, they called to let us know the process for late check ins and we're super nice. Room was nice and clean!

There was no breakfast available, possibly because of Covid, but we went to the Country Cafe downtown for an excellent tasting hot breakfast on an extremely cold (-19 degrees) New Year's Day morning.

When my husband booked online, the booking fee was supposed to be subtracted or waived. We cancelled a room that was booked online after we called the hotel directly to reserve an extra room. We were charged the booking fee anyway and found out we couldn't get a veteran or senior discount because Grantsburg Inn had to pay that same booking fee that we did. So in our opinion, Booking.com double dipped on the booking fee. Was that fair to either the guest or the proprietor? You can bet that we will call the hotel directly in the future and not recommend Booking.com to anyone we know.

Breakfast was not included, however fresh coffee was available each morning down in the office. Housekeeping was performed every day, despite how larger establishments have withdrawn from this practice.

The TV would not come on. I believe it was missing a power cord. However, I never approached the office with this information because I knew that I wouldn't be watching it anyway.

They were nice to accommodate our dogs without extra charge. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice having both a microwave and frig in the room. Grocery store was right next door.

The ice machine is in the lobby, which was locked at night. Bathroom was very tiny and shower head was out of reach.

Price was high but it was a saturday.
